    Useless podcasts
    Well done BBC you have completely destroyed my podcast listening experience. I now have to use your pathetic and clumsy app that continually restarts a podcast, there is no download capability and the sound quality is awful. You must be so proud of yourselves! Show more

    BBC Podcasts can ONLY be live streamed ?
    there's no way to download and play BBC podcasts off-line. your ONLY choice is live streaming. ???

    The BBC is breaking podcasts
    The BBC moving some of its podcasts to be available only in BBC Sounds completely fragments the user experience. Podcasts should be available for listening in whatever player the user chooses, all together, downloading automatically into the same app - one place to go for all podcasts, the way it’s meant to be. On top of the crime detailed above, the BBC Sounds app is awful and virtually featureless. The podcast that I am interested in can’t even be downloaded for offline listening! Love the content, but BBC Sounds is a terrible solution to a problem that didn’t exist. Show more

    Since the latest update it no longer works. Nothing but There Was a Problem During Loading message.

    So dumb that they embargo podcasts except through the app
    I have been a regular listener of BBC podcasts for years, I’m soo annoyed that I now need to go to a different app to listen to the podcasts I love instead of them just showing up in my feed as soon as they drop. It also appears they are no longer available to download offline so I have to stream instead. This is so dumb. Show more

    Couldn’t live without it!!
    I’ve listened to BBC for years, I never ever grow tired of it, WORLD NEWS which often brings news before it reaches the news media, BBC4 extra which has had me entertained for so, so , many hours, BBC 4 which is always interesting, the TODAY show, which is my daily stable! And I could go on and on. Show more

    We need to be able to sort episodes of podcasts within a series alphabetically or according to date.

    Lacking essential features
    Lacks essential features. Doesn’t have fast forward or replay, can’t skip ahead, no sleep timer. Too bad since content is good .

    As basic a player as there is
    Needs speed controls (replay at 1.5x or2x) and better classification if downloaded podcasts. Content is great, but controls are missing.
