I follow Robert Monroe’s work, and what the Monroe institute has and is still doing to improve the research and development of defining consciousness. I saw the hemi sync symbol and didn’t hesitate to download and start paying for a subscription. Sadly I do believe this is a third party and not the actual company. Most are samples that can be found on the internet. I really was hoping this was indeed what I was looking for but nearly nothing on here if a full version. My interest specifically is the out of body state and health. But the section is unpopulated with anything usable. If you want to use this as a discovery to and sample what is out there that’s one thing. But I expected full Hemi-Sync tracks and this was not it. Show more

I only made into 2 days of the free week trial and canceled. No way am I paying 80 bucks for such a crap app. You cannot even download the albums, you have to stream. Hey Hemi Sync, big news, not everyone has access to wifi all the time and we do t want to burn our data streaming your content, get with the program. Well at least Apple Music currently has about 170 Hemi Sync albums to both stream and DOWNLOAD! They are all downloaded to my iPhone. Their website says there’s about 300 hemi sync albums on the app and I seriously doubt that as compared to what I saw in the two days as compared to what is on Apple Music. Show more

I use Hemi-Sync for manifesting exercises. Since I began I got the woman of my dreams, a promotion in my company, and a better quality of life. Highly recommend

I got some hemisync CDs years ago and had a great experience. Interested in "The Gateway Experience" - I started an "unlimited" subscription only to find out that the subscription is, well, quite limited. It seems "premium" content exists outside of the "unlimited" scope and I'd need to pay more, somehow, somewhere to get it. Where? Who knows. The monroe institute website, perhaps? I can't purchase the desired content from within the app. Perhaps an out of body experience will one day reveal the steps necessary to access content beyond the realm of an "unlimited" subscription. I tried downloading past purchases or even tried to listen to them but the margins are off. I cannot see anything but jumbled letters all in a line underneath each other. Had this app before and deleted it for same reasons. 1 year later and still problem is not solved … oh well. Show more

It seems awesome so far but I’m having a bit of difficulty navigating the app properly. Am I missing something? Or do I need to go on the website to get the full experience perhaps…??? Show more

Very annoyed

I just resubscribed after seeing there was an update but it’s still buggy! After about 15 minutes the track cuts off completely or switches to another random track. A few days ago it worked OK but now it’s getting worse and I can’t listen to a meditation without it getting cut off and switching to a different track! Also there is nothing listed under “out of body” which is the main reason I like Hemi-Sync-Sync. I don’t see many of the deeper experiences on the app. I already own a lot of the tracks so not sure it’s worth a subscription even if the app was fixed. The only thing it’s good for is sampling tracks I haven’t tried so I might purchase them. Glad I only signed up for one month and I already canceled. For a company that supposedly has high level audio technology why can’t they get a working app? Show more

I love the audios and the content. But the app makes using them very difficult. I paid for a subscription and it didn’t register on the app so I paid for nothing - had to cancel. Things seem out of order and disorganized, and it crashes almost every time I open it. I’m using the latest iOS so I know I’m not the problem. I would love to pay for the app but it needs to work before I will. Show more

I was hoping that paying for a yearly subscription I would have access to more materials including a more out of body meditations. Like somebody else said a lot of tracks are really short and just cut off abruptly. Really disappointing especially since I really love Robert Monroe’s books and wanted to support the ongoing work. I feel scammed and ripped off. If you’re considering purchasing I would just spend my money on the Calm app. Show more

This app has a lot of great content, but falls short with all the glitches, bugs, and poor execution. The mixer is clearly a series of loops that pause when they end rather than restarting seamlessly or fading out and back in. The players repeat function fails, as does the playlist function. As does any track randomly. Is there a problem with the buffer? You simply cannot have these kind of bugs in an app whose whole point is uninterrupted relaxation. They have prices access to this app based on the content, and, with better execution it would be well worth the money. But as is it’s not worth the hassle. You will be more frustrated than relaxed. This is the buggiest thing I’m ever seen.

As others have stated there are multiple problems with the function of this app. The number one drawback for me and the reason I am canceling my subscription; you cannot listen to anything off line. That’s a dealbreaker! Show more

I know enough about the history of the institute and Robert Monroe’s techniques to know that they are potentially life changing for many people, but this app is a trainwreck of confusion and wasted potential. It seems like the institute has fallen into fluffy, saccharine self-help tropes and endless little spin offs. I’m not interested in some track about “eating” and “creativity” …I’m here for the original, more profound content that Monroe produced. What a complete waste of time. Show more
