I’m really impressed that this app is able to edit 4K footage without proxies on an iPad. Simply amazing! But unfortunately, it keeps unlinking all my files and as far as I can tell there is no way to re-link files. Unfortunately all the time lost trying to re-organize all of my edits is a screaming deal breaker.?? Show more

I’ve been using Luma on a 12.9 iPad Pro 2020 weekly for 2 years. The new update breaks a lot of things. So far most issues deal with bringing media into the project—songs create annoying errors, and just clicking on video files to preview from the native photos app cause long load times (that were not there last build). I waited 3 weeks to update, I guess I should have waited longer:( I contacted support and they were very helpful but I don’t trust their beta build—what if it causes more problems? Show more

I purchased this app and it continues to force close. I can’t finish any projects that I start I’ve tried everything nothing works

i’ve seen talk of multi-cam sync, but no evidence of it anywhere in the app, or in the support documentation. they’ve talked about it for well over a year. i’ve love to edit video on my ipad pro, but desktop apps seem to continue to be the go-to for a quick, powerful edit. i guess i’ll check in again in another year. So I ran into some issues with writing finished projects and tried to fix it myself and lost everything. I reached out and they say on their support page, Do not delete the app - you will lose all your projects. So I recreated the project I wanted completed in the first place and still had the same issue. I reached out to the support team this time and they were able to pin point the issue was a strange mp.4 audio file that was messing with my finished product. Once removed it was smooth sailing. Still mostly love this app. Highly recommend. Show more

I change screen-recorded videos into audio-only files that I save to my files app which I then use as my music folder. This app is worth the price in that aspect alone, honestly. Show more

Overall the app is great except that it doesn’t have automatic motion tracking. I paid less for Motion Ninja and it offers a really good motion tracking feature that analyzes the video and sets points you can choose. The layer that is associated with the tracking data stays in place. I would like to see something like this implemented in this app since it’s so clean and easy to work with. Show more

This is THE video editor for iPad/iPhone. Period. People saying that they have experienced lost files must REALLY be trying hard to lose them because this app (kind of annoyingly actually) redundantly saves all of your media in like 5 different locations just to make it impossible to lose anything. This app is AMAZING! To give you a fast and clear example: it's like having a full version of Premiere or Final Cut Pro on your phone, but with MORE PROFESSIONAL options, and yet it does NOT SEEM SQUEEZED. The layout is beautiful and so easy to use on touchscreen! I can't even think of ANY iPhone app that even compares to the detail, amount of features, pro tools, etc. at all... Nothing is this good! It's in a class of it's own, running neck to neck with desktop software. The speed is amazing as well! Slow Motion. - The video clip I “slow down” have No Audio? I know I can “Extract” the audio & then “Snap to Grid” (align) the video (top) & audio (bottom) are matched but audio “stretching” gives the off sync (timing is off) to the slow motion clip. I herd it’s a “audio scrubbing” thing from what I read online. Show more

This app is great for simple video editing, but I have seen some of the features that makes it relatively powerful for more complex editing (I only do simple, so I can’t say that it is great for heavy editing). I especially like the free audio tracks that make a great accompaniment to my videos. Show more

… Its nice and compatible however, I started to work on a project which the footage is loaded on an external SSD and there has been nothing but problems with the Media not being visible or linked correctly after reopening sessions. Also, as I wanted to export an XML to work on my Mac in another program, it came to notice that - 1. You get charged extra for an “XML” output and 2. It is only for Final Cut. My suggestion, wait until DaVinci Resolve is released as it has much better editing options and will be available for free - plus you can work on your Mac as well which this Editing Software does not offer. Lumafusion is amazing and quality is satisfying, however is there a way that you can make a Lumafusion desktop version

I got some suggestions like adding motion graphics like DaVinci Resolve like rotoscoping some visuals effects like cctv retro motion blur camera shake etc adding those will feel like a complete editing app Anyway this is a great professional editing tool! Thank you! Show more

I paid $29.99 for this app and they still want me to pay a yearly fee in order to use all the features I already paid for? Run far away.
