    Don’t Get These
Wasted good money on them. Don’t even bother and save yourself the $130+. Like everyone else says they both won’t connect to your phones Bluetooth. Garbage

    Software is buggy
The firmware update won’t work on apple phones and tech support said they are aware of the issue and nothing to do about it unless I use an Android phone to do the update. Not helpful. I have also found the connection to the phone can sometimes be inconsistent. This issue is now 6+ months old and still no solution. The connectivity for this product is unacceptably poor and requires continuous repairing. I would NOT buy this product until they get this resolved and have proven the connectivity issues are resolved. Show more

    Hate the 30 step minimum
Other than that, it is fine. I don’t like corporations telling me what to do.

    Very unreliable App and headphones
I lost count of how many hours I have wasted trying to get these connected. 100 dollar trash set

Review of App and the Backbeat FIT 2100
Some of you might be basing your reviews on whether or not you headset stays connected to your phone via bluetooth. Yes, I have issues with that too but the star rating is just for this app, but I did add something about my Backbeat FIT 2100 headset at the end for those interested in that model. Backbeat App review On my iPhone, in iOS Settings, I have to tap on the Bluetooth connection again so that the app recognizes that the headset is connected even though it already says “connected” on iOS (Bluetooth Settings). You can only use the App on one phone, but that doesn’t mean you can’t pair more than one phone to the headset. I like that I can check battery life and see if my 2 phones are connected to the headset via this app. I wish the battery percentage font for the headset was way bigger on the app, and wish that when you TAP to check battery life it would give you a battery life percentage or estimated hours of listening left. Note: There is another app called Backbeat Fit Companion app, but that doesn’t seem to see my Backbeat FIT 2100 headset when paired, even though it says it’s compatible on the app description list my headset does not appear to work with that app. (The following does not reflect on the 4 Star App rating I gave, but I want to give my 2 cents about my headset) Backbeat Fit 2100 (Headset) Review Works with 2 phones connected simultaneously and that is why I bought it. I am able to answer calls from my Personal and Work iPhones while driving without having to switch connections. Backbeat Fit 2100 will assigned phones a numerical, eg “Phone 1 connected”, “Phone 2 Connected” etc. Backbeat assigns Siri audio to Phone 1, so make sure the phone you want Siri on is paired first. Siri is activated by click and holding the right ear button. The issue is that Siri doesn’t stay on long enough to give Siri a command. Workaround is to program the Left earbud with Tap 1 or Tap 2 to turn on Siri. You will need to do this Backbeat app. Listening to music or Podcast can be played through both iPhones without messing with bluetooth connection. Bluetooth constantly disconnects from iPhone if you are moving away from phone farther than 20ft. Headset will state “Phone 1 disconnected “ “Phone 1 connected” and “Phone 2 disconnected “ “Phone 2 connected” Which can be annoying. Earbuds from headset makes both my ears ache a bunch after a day of use because of the stretching. Wish earbuds where smaller. I’m just happy that I can receive calls from both my phones. Hope this was helpful. Show more

App Can’t Connect to PLT Backbeat 2100
Seems like it would have some nice features, if only I could get past the first step. I can connect to the headphones using bluetooth, but the app won’t recognize them no matter what I try. Show more
