Quality training to pickup notes by ear
This app takes you through all the challenges to practice as often as you’d like to improve your ability to notice the change of notes and the tone & pitch of notes. Ya I’d recommend any musician to atleast try it out Show more

    Not for new people
After 10 minutes tapping the screen i gave up. The app gives no instructions on how to play the games or feedback on what you are doing wrong

    i love it

    Descending exercises
Great app. Only critique is descending exercises are too easy because the first note isn’t always at the top of the sequence, meaning the answer is usually the lowest possible choice. Ascending exercises don’t have this problem. Show more

The best app for Any Musician!
I am a self taught musician, and I truly appreciate that this amazing tool is free for anyone to use! I have only used it for a few hours and I have already improved so much in my ear training for scales and much more. This is a musician must have for any level! Thank you so much for making this app free again, i really appreciate it :) Show more

    Awesome Ear Training App
I’ve been using Chet for the last year and it has significantly improved the way I hear music. I love that it puts ear training in a real music context and also has all the normal ear training exercises you find in applications, like MacGamut. But the progressive learning path and spaced repetition really gives you a methodical way to train while reinforcing what you’ve learned. 5 stars. Show more

    Perfect
Such a great app. And it’s free. I hope they never charge but even if they did I would 100% give them my money. I have never been so astounded as to write a review on an app. But this app blew my expectations away with such a great and dynamic way of learning. Highly recommend Show more

    Add streaks!!!!
Streaks I think would help me be more motivated to come back every day. Great app!

    Suggestion
Cool app and really helpful but I really wish there was a way to take off the timer so I can feel like I’m practicing rather than being quizzed.

You should download this app Now
Very straight forward, easy to understand.

Most effective ear training app I’ve used
You still need to design your own program as far as getting through the exercises, but the exercises themselves are the most useful collection I’ve encountered. I’ve seen faster growth in my musical ear during these few months than any other period of my life. Show more

Put in the time and get results
Should you decide to take this app seriously, you will have tremendous benefits in note/chord recognition. Excellent for musicians of ANY skill level.

    tons of stuff
One of the top music training apps out, for its huge number of tests, skill levels, and all tracking of your progress. You can find other apps that do certain things better. Overall, a must-have. Show more

    Chords are too primitive
Looking for some jazz chords with all kinds of extensions, also the later part Chet master game is melody-dictation only, which is kind of repetitive and boring. Maybe some difficult jazz chords would fix that? Show more
