Funky grooves practice/jam app for all musicians, music teachers and music students no matter level, with up to 6 mixable instrument tracks. Are you tired of mostly jazz focused jam tracks, uninspiring and just not that suited for Funk/Soul/Fusion instrument practice? And do you miss the simplicity of a good funky vamp that swings, where you can just jam and not necessarily think too much about too many chord changes? You would rather jam over instrumental grooves in the style of i.e Herbie Hancock, Prince, Steps Ahead, Jeff Lorber Fusion, Maceo Parker, James Brown, Earth Wind and Fire, Donny Hathaway, John Scofield, George Benson.... Well, this might make your practice routine a bit more fun. Funky grooves with up to 6 mixable instrument tracks - Drums, percussion, Bass, pianos, guitars, click... The 8 to 16 bar sections can be transposed to all keys, instruments can be muted on a section basis to create custom arrangements - ie mute all instruments but the drums for the first repetition and add instruments on each repeat - creating classic funk build ups. Easy, fun and inspiring New grooves will be added on regular basis SUBSCRIPTIONS The Back Pocket Grooves app offers a subset of tracks for free - you can access and use these tracks by downloading and installing the app. To access all of the backing tracks, the Back Pocket Grooves app offers a monthly auto-renewing subscription plan that costs £0.99 per month or an annual auto-renewing subscription plan that costs £7.99 per year. The subscription is auto-renewable which means it will automatically renew unless you turn auto-renew off in your App Store account settings on your device. If you want to stop your subscription then you should switch off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Good Jam App
This is a fun little practice tool to hone your grooves. It’s not centered on any particular instrument, and individual parts can be muted, soloed, or have their volume changed to suit. The interface is uncluttered so it’s really easy to get to playing. I’d ask for a display of the key in the song screen itself, displayed prominently. It would be cool to be able to transpose the keys as well. Show more

Nice App, nice format, nice grooves
Bought this yesterday, already got way more than my money’s worth. Had a few breakthroughs. These grooves are well put together and offer many ways of training with them by either muting parts or simply approaching the groove differently. Blue tooth from my phone to a speaker and boom played until the fingers needed a break. Back at it this morning for a quicky before work. Well worth the money IMO. And because you can mute different instruments it with be a good tool for my guitar playing too…. Having way to much fun on bass right now though! If you like MarlowDKs bass lesson’s you’ll love this tool! Show more
