    Unusable
There is no play button. So I can’t play through any of the exercises. I only have bpm, timer, headphones, and bass/scale toggle. I hope there is an update otherwise I’ve wasted my money. Show more

    About 80% done
V1.3.2 update This update eliminates the issues identified below regarding navigating within the app. It now behaves more predictably. To the developer, thank you for acting on my review. It’s now about 90% done. Please keep refining it. Oh, a button to erase the entire practice history with a “Are you sure” confirmation would be useful too. ————————————————— This could be a very powerful and useful learning and warm-up app. But first it needs to be fully finished. It’s got some strangeness in it that indicates to me is not been fully beta tested and the app updated. It’s missing BACK buttons from some screens and the color codes are not consistently applied. On the Exercises page the TECHNIQUE tab scrolled off the page. Some buttons don’t work; maybe they are not intended to be used in any order; that’s annoying. There really needs to be far more content or the advanced player will blow through it quickly. For the beginner each exercise needs a separate page with an explanation of the exercise’s purpose, symbology and rhythm. A summary in chronological order of the exercises started/ completed with last BPM played would be great. As it is now it’s an excellent source of challenging etudes. I’m hoping the developers put the time to refine it, then it will be a keeper. Please! Show more

    Transformative!
There’s some flaws, but the highs are so good I’m leaving a five star anyway! It breaks down exercises into easy, metronomic episodes. I have books, but this is great because there’s no other setup needed, the metronome and play along are there! There’s fingerings, tips, an adjustable metronome with recommended speeds, a timer, everything. Golllllldddd. Criques: It needs a back button and a better explanation of the levels of exercise, but once you’re using it, it’s gold! Show more
