The Dunking Dyslexia app provides a multi-sensory approach for learning and teaching phonics using music. The program is based on the neuroscience of the relationship of music to learning. The app is an optional component to the Step By Step Reading program written by Dr. Cintron and compliments her book "A Message Of Hope, How Music Enhances Reading for Dyslexic Students."
This is for all who need support with phonics and writing. It requires an internet connection. There is one lesson with all classical music good for studying. One lesson with letter names and sounds (Kinder+) grade. Twenty-eight Spelling Exercises ranging in complexity. And there are 8 Sentence Groups. Try various exercises and see where your child needs to begin. Strive for 80% proficiency before moving on.
This app gives you free access of 3 lessons, you will need to subscribe to the app to access all the lessons, currently, we offer a package called "All Access Monthly". The length of this subscription package is 1 month and it automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. You will be charged in your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. You will also be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal.
Subscriptions can be managed or canceled by going to your iTunes Account Settings after purchase.
