EON Connect is a smart device application for control of up to four JBL EON 600-series speakers, using EON 600’s built-in Bluetooth functionality. The EON Connect app enables you to optimize the performance of each speaker through exclusive access to additional DSP parameters, including three fully adjustable parametric equalizers, plus Hi and Lo Shelf filters. In addition you can set speaker delay for compensating speaker positions and control output mixing. Plus, quickly apply speaker settings across other EON 600-series speakers through preset creation and recall. You can also update each speaker’s firmware to the latest version directly from the EON Connect application. JBL engineers purposely designed the JBL EON 600 speaker line to provide a fully professional, easy to use, and built-to-last portable loudspeaker system for today’s working musicians and sound providers. Featuring JBL’s advanced waveguide technology, JBL designed and manufactured transducers, the latest technologies in cabinet materials and wireless DSP control via Bluetooth, the JBL EON 600-series delivers the extraordinary quality of a high-end studio monitor in a powerful portable PA. NOTE: Due to improvements in the application infrastructure, users of the app before version 1.34 may need to create new settings. Version 2.0 is built on a new, improved code base for better performance. Users should reset their EON Speakers before using this version of the app. If a speaker is still linked to the old app, it may not be able to connect to the new app.
What’s New
1. Support for new EON 600 speakers (Firmware update) 2. Intuitive GUI and touch control 3. Easy navigation between screens 4. Better Bluetooth connectivity

    C’mon Harman/JBL
This should be a wonderful speaker and in many ways it is. However, Harman have abandoned it following a v1.0 software release. Updates could have added functionality or better UI. Heck,I would love to pay for additional features in my Eon 610. Seems like one needs to research a manufacturer’s commitment to product support/software updates before buying any sort of app-based speaker. I regret that I blindly trusted Harman/JBL would continue support for their product. I think Mackie has a better reputation, but look for yourself and as customers, let’s start insisting on better support for what we buy. Show more

    Needs work
EON connect does a decent at upgrading the speakers. Be aware that build 70 can lock you out from adding the speakers to the network. Once you add the speakers leave them there. I removed mine and now none of them come up in the scan anymore. The network tab shows them as not being part of the network. JBL customer rep suggested a speaker factory reset by powering the speaker with Boot and EQ buttons pressed and waiting for the LEDs to flash. This made the speakers ready to be paired again. The app should release the speakers as unpaired to avoid a factory reset. The app should also provide a help page detailing the factory reset procedure as this would be handy in other situations. Waste of time
Bring that speaker back to whatever you bought it, and stop wasting time and money

    Reset Speaker First
If you can’t connect do this: Turn off power switch. Hold down EQ+ and Boot buttons while turning the power back on. Wait until all LED’s start flashing before releasing the buttons. After the speaker fully boots up, Push the Bluetooth button once to light the blue LED. Open the App and push the + symbol. Your speaker should show up. Select it. Now, one of the four round icons should show your speaker model number. Push that icon and you should see the speaker control home page. Done! You can now add up to four speakers by the same process. Once speakers are added, you shouldn’t need to reset each speaker again. Other than difficulty connecting the first time, this is a great app for users of the JBL Eon 600 series. It is an app for controlling the speaker - NOT for streaming music over Bluetooth. You can’t stream music to these speakers without buying an external Bluetooth module from other vendors. Show more

    HOT TRASH!
The app takes a while to connect then disconnects after a matter of seconds and is near impossible to reconnect, while leaving whatever changes you made in effect. In my case, I slid the volume fader around and it stuck at 100 and disconnected, and now the hiss from the speaker is much more present and won’t go away without a reset and reconnect to the app. geat idea, terrible execution, Needs improvement! Confounding
I’ve tried this app on several devices, it worked briefly once. Why even advertise this as a feature?

    App doesn’t work
App not working. Is a complete mess, I don’t know how is possible that JBL have apps that don’t work at all
