The mobile companion for the Essential Elements Interactive (EEi) Online Resource (Browser Version) – available with the purchase of an Essential Elements Method Book (Books 1, 2, or 3). This app is designed to work with the Essential Elements for Band and Essential Elements for Strings Method Books – the premier method books for beginning instrumentalists. EEi is an online resource that supplements and enhances the EE curriculum. This app will allow teachers, students and parents access to their EEi accounts. EEi for iOS allows users with accounts to: • Practice their instruments with multiple audio accompaniment tracks • Record themselves via their iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch • Upload and share recordings via the EEi cloud • Use tempo control, slowing the audio speed for practice • View instructional videos • Access supplemental handouts and worksheets • View and share assignments and materials from teacher to student • And much more… *An internet connection and an EEi teacher, student or parent account is required to use this app. **Accounts can be created using purchased Essential Elements Teacher and Student Method Books (Books 1, 2, or 3).

    Needs work :(
    My teacher doesn’t make us use this app but I’m using it to practice with along with the book. Good things: plays the songs so you can hear them and play along. I can record myself playing with the music! It keeps my recordings. Bad things: lots of glitches. I have to log back in a lot; very inconvenient. The app often quits or freezes up. Hard to navigate through the app for me. When you’re viewing the music there’s a button that says “Levels”, but all it has is volume and that doesn’t even work. Needs to have but doesn’t: option that you can change the speed of the songs. I think the app was updated recently, but only how it looks. All the worst glitches and inconveniences are still there. Please update the app!! Show more

    Super annoying
    So I play in my schools band, like most people with this app probably do. I already own the EEI essential elements for band book 1 for my instrument so I decided “you know what? I’ll get another song book!” So I bought the Disney Encanto music book in my local music store and I tried to make a brand new individual account and did everything right and typed in my code. But it said my code was wrong even though all the numbers where right. But I recently forgot my password/user to both of my accounts so I can’t get back into them since there’s no “change password option”. The app is also in need of a desperate update I have the iPhone 12 and it’s horrible on here really glitchy and slow. So PLEASE fix the app!!!! Show more

    Okay, but still terrible
    It isn’t very well labeled. I tried to use the tuner but it didn’t work. It was hard to do the activation code thing.

    Bluetooth
    I would like it if the sound could connect to Bluetooth, then we can play violin with the accompaniment during private lessons. The sound from the phone is too soft Show more

    So many bugs
    The app basically opens up a webpage on your phone which then tells you that you can download the app from the App Store. You have to login each time use it, even when you ask it to remember you. If your phone screen locks out you have to force close the app and start it back up and start considering that the book was E book is $10. you would help the app would perform a like an app and less like an out of date webpage. All the features are really cool and I love the practice log and ability to record your practice. However this app is very desperate for an update. Might have to use a laptop to get real use out of it. as other people have said it’s better than nothing but, I expect more from this company given their long history in music education. Show more

    Needs lots of work
    The GUI is horrible and the app is buggy, logs you out every time you close the app, and doesn’t work well on a phone. The app barley functions.

    i just need ONE. THING.
    I don’t know how to play a stupid pass off, so i made an account online. then i saw the app, and was like “oh okay i’ll just get that” i made a username and password, username being madison_vp,, and i then downloaded the app. as i was trying to log into my account ON THE APP, it told me ,”you can’t have anything but letters and numbers in your username. please try again” ???? How are you gonna let me make a whole username with an UNDERSCORE and not tell me i can’t have an underscore BEFORE YOU SET THAT AS MY LOG IN??? secondly, I just need to know what ONE song sounds like so i know i’m playing it right. Im on book three, a flutist, and it’s not even available. i won’t be able to pass this off and get a better grade because y’all are difficult. originally said 2 stars, im sorry but i’m going to 1. Thanks for putting me through boring band classes tho. Show more
