Learn the Notes

Learn the Notes is a fun, interactive game that teaches you to read music no matter what instrument or clef you would like to learn. Learn the Notes includes all the clefs: Treble Clef (G Clef), Bass Clef (F Clef), Alto Clef (C Clef) and Tenor Clef (C Clef). It has graded levels from beginner to advanced and allows you to progress at your own pace, even allowing you to skip levels if the material is too easy. Learn the Note includes Concentration, a music memory game that teaches music symbols from the most basic to advanced. You can play Concentration alone mastering the graded levels or you can play with your friends (up to four players). Learn the Notes is now compatible with MIDI. If you have a MIDI keyboard or other MIDI controller you can use it with Learn the Notes to help you master both reading the notes and playing them on your instrument. Additionally, Learn the Notes includes a basic glossary of music to help you keep track of all the music terms you are learning.

    Program won’t launch
I bought this yesterday on the App store. It won’t open. I reached out to their support site and haven’t heard back yet. Looks like a good app, but if it won’t open and I can’t get support then what good is it? Hoping to get this working. Show more

    Entertaining Tutor
I used a computer game to teach myself how to type, and always wanted something similar to help me with music. I needed to start somewhere, and this program is what I was looking for. It feels like it was designed for kids, but guess what? Fifty year olds also like sound and color and being told they did a good job. Flash cards were too boring and other programs wanted to start me out with 20 notes to choose from. The program lets you skip ahead if it’s too easy, but starting from the very beginning and working my way up while making it a game - Thats exactly what I wanted. Show more
