    Garbage
    Only works on phones and iPads. I bought two $300 tiny pianos to have each of my kids learned how to play. However, these pianos only work with phones and iPads. They don’t have phones, they are kids. An iPad is over $1k. I can’t give them my phone to use the piano every time they feel like playing. I definitely won’t buy 2 iPads so they can each play and learn at the same time. Ridiculous. Please make the app available for PCs. Show more

    Error Message Every Lesson
    After every single lesson I get an error message, and none of my progress is saved. The hardware works great, but it’s useless until the app is fixed. I keep seeing the Developer’s notes that they’re aware of this, but will it be fixed soon? I can’t even use this product until it’s fixed which is really sad since it was a gift I was very excited to receive. Show more

    Work in Progress
    I have very few words to say. I got this great new mini piano as a birthday gift this year. Indeed, the vision of the new app sounds wonderful. Nevertheless, I’ve read so many of the reviews yet the problem is still the same. System crashes and the error notification still goes on after every exercise. I have had to reboot the app many times, sometimes to the point where I no longer open it. I truly hope the system can get its technical problems situated so that the LUMI music app and instrument can fulfill its vision for those who look forward to learning and growing when they purchase the item and subscription.     App Errors, no direct support, poor website
    I love the hardware and software… but their execution stinks. After having spent hundreds between hardware and an annual subscription, I truly regret it… as others have stated. Here are a few items.. - Error pop up on iOS app all the time - Didn't remember progress - No multi-user support (pretty useless with 3 kids) - Wouldn’t load on kid’s iPad Pro - No support ticket or email for PlayLumi users (just left to suffer) - Opened ticket on ROLI.com, went to check ticket status and “No Tickets” on my account - Website very buggy… pop-up’s won’t close, links dead Very disappointed to give this to my kids for Christmas and they can’t even use it.     Adding my review to add to the Error bug
    Been using over a year now and just bought a second keyboard pro version… I get the error message after every song or lesson. Even with the latest update. Please fix. Update: tried updating my OS, logging in/out, uninstall/reinstall, etc and still getting the error Show more

    Error Message Every Single Use
    Every single lesson, game, song, or anything that I’ve tried to play so far in this app yields an “error” message. When I hit “Ok” to attempt to clear the error (as I’ve tried to do at least 15 times now), either the app freezes, or I’m allowed to continue but all of my progress is erased. I have tried updating my iPad, restarting, restarting the app (multiple times), restarting the Lumi keyboard, all to no avail. This is a software issue and so inherent to the basic functionality, I wonder if this was even tested? I don’t know that there is any way to use this application and therefore the hardware (keyboard) is also useless? Very disappointing. Show more

    There was an error please try again
    This greets me at login and after each lesson. It’s not saving progress and showing this error. I even tried on a different device and I get the same. I do not have ready access to support there is a week plus lag. A subscription app like this should have dedicated real time customer service that can troubleshoot. I am likely to cancel. I have opened two tickets. On the plus side lessons are fun but as I m erroring out so often I am on pause until I can see it fixed. Show more

    “Oops. An error has occurred”
    This is absolutely five star hardware and software design, but the errors are killing me. I have TWO of the keyboards and actually went out and bought a new iPad to replace my below-min-spec model when I thought it would help the crashing problem, but I’m now seeing that error message after every exercise, practice or song. Given I’ve rebooted, reconnect the keyboard, reinstalled the software and even gotten a brand new machine on which I’ve only ever run this app (and two games - I’m not a monk) I’m pretty sure the problem isn’t on my side. Perhaps my iCloud save file is corrupted? Whatever it is, it’s screwing up my progress, throwing my stats way off, and generally making me feel weird about having spent a small fortune. Give us an update on the bugs, ROLI! Show more

    Error after every lesson
    After every lesson, I get a message that says “There was an error, please try again.” Because of this, none of the progress that was made is saved. I thought it might be sue to not signing up for a membership, but still happening after signing up. $79 wasted on this. Also had a discount code that said could be used to reduce the cost, but that did not work either. I emailed the support team and still have not heard back. Giving this a 1 star for app quality and lack of support. Show more
