Princess Piano has escaped a spell cast by an evil witch thanks to her magic ballet shoes. By learning to read and play music on the piano, you will help the princess dance her way back to the Cloud Kingdom to rescue her family! In this melodious adventure, Princess Piano introduces the notes of the scale and how they are written on the staff. As Princess Piano climbs the skies towards the Cloud Kingdom, you will start with simple melodies, but will soon progress to be able to play well-known folk songs and selections from classical masters such as Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, and Debussy. Along the way, you unlock outfits that Princess Piano can model in the “Dressing Room.” You can take photos of the ensembles you create and send them to your friends. And, using the music composition tool, you can even compose music yourself and have Princess Piano dance along to the notes of your very own song! Though designed for younger audiences, budding musicians of any age are sure to find Princess Piano an engaging introduction to the magical world of music!

    Princess Piano settings
I like this app, but when trying to add a new user I cannot and the game keeps going back to default. I also would like to start a new game with my students and the app will not allow me to do this. When I press on new player the keyboard does not show up so that I may add a new person. I am incredibly frustrated. Show more

    Piano teacher
I'm so disappointed in this app. I thought it might be good for my beginning students who are struggling to learn the notes. I could not understand how to do it correctly and I've been playing piano for sixty years. Don't recommend the app. Show more

    Good Game!
I'm just starting to learn how to play the piano and learning how to read notes. This game is perfect for me because it teaches you where the notes are on the staff. I also like that you learn one note at a time, which is a good pace. I highly recommend this game for anyone who wants to learn the piano and learn how to read notes! Show more

    Great help to learn piano
Disclaimer: I got this when it was free. Turning learning to play piano into a game is a great idea. This children's training app uses one-note melodies to teach reading and playing music. The timing seems to be accurately measured, and the feedback is decently helpful. However, there's no metronome or musical accompaniment, which means you have to time everything visually by the title character's bouncing. (The lack of accompaniment is especially problematic with the final song, which is simply not melodic.) There's no auditory feedback beyond the notes you play, either. But it's a learning tool, not Guitar Hero, so that's okay. The last update seems to have fixed the biggest problem I had with this app. Just hope the other one (no aural indicator of timing) is addressed, as well as some bugs, and I won't have any other meaningful complaints. And I don't have a MIDI keyboard, so I can't say whether it's supported, but that would be magnitudes better than playing the on-screen piano. Show more

    Princess piano
My granddaughters and I are having a race to see who can master it first and we are learning too. I would definitely buy a sequel to this super fun game. Show more
