    Effective note learning tool.
This is a very effective note learning tool for many students—they are drawn in by the increasing pace/intensity. As a teacher I love that I can choose a range of notes to practice, such as treble clef space notes only, an appropriate hurdle for beginners. Show more

    A great app, great support
I just purchased this last week. My students love it! I’ve used other note reading apps too, but this has rave reviews PLUS my students who use it in band and orchestra at school have mentioned how much they love beating top scores. Craig also gives prompt and helpful support as the developer. I’m definitely recommending to other teachers. Show more

Indispensable for experienced musicians who never learned to read
I downloaded this after a teacher at a conservatory recommended it to our class piano class and I have it to thank for jumpstarting my sight reading ability. It’s not a replacement for reading and playing actual music, but made it so I could practice anywhere at the drop of a hat, and really helped get me up to speed. If I could make one suggestion to the developers, include playback of the actual pitches as you input your answers, that will help students develop their relative pitch, and will make it all around a more musical experience. Good
It is actually a really fun game. I bought it for distance learning and it is definitely worth it. You can change the range of the notes to your skill and every time you level up mid game it adds something to the music and speeds up. Show more

Finally my son wants to learn note names!
Gone are the groans when I ask my 6yo to practice note names! He loves this game and is improving his note recognition. Works great on all my iOS devices, except I can’t get it to close on my iPhone X. It doesn’t respond to swiping up from anywhere on the screen. I end up having to reboot the phone. Is there something I’m missing or is this something that needs to be fixed in the next version? Show more

    Not enough ledger lines
I use this with my suzuki guitar students but we need ledger lines down to a low E under the treble clef staff. It’s a bummer not to have the full low range to train with. Please help! Show more
