Synesthesia makes listening to music a colorful experience and is a wonderful mood light and soft night light when you want to calm down. Do you want to see colors when playing certain tones like people with synesthesia / chromestesia do? The app "Synesthesia - See the music in colors" enables you to experience music in color as well. Whether you use it to train you perfect pitch, to help you remember melodies or just for entertainment as a light organ while listening to your favorite songs - Synesthesia helps you to see the current pitch in colors. To experience the colors simply allow the app to access the microphone on the first start and then play your instrument or a song, sing, ... or just enjoy many color changing patterns even without music as a mood light or night light. Please note: People with synesthesia may experiences different colors for the same pitch. The app therefore uses it's own color scale (each musical note C displays a red color for example). Some of our users use the app as an replacement for their old light organs ... so that should work very well ;-) If you like music apps be sure to check out our other apps as well -> Piano Champion, Guitar Champion, Drum Champion, Voice Back .... and many more to come

I couldn’t get it to work
I wanted it to use this app when playing music on my IPhone but when I would open the app my music would pause defeating the purpose I downloaded it for. I did take your advice to another person who reviewed your app and deleted it from my phone and you were right I don’t stress over it not working, but thanks for a nice effort anyway Show more

    No no no!?
I have synesthesia, and it’s not like this. Synesthesia is different for everyone who has it. Some people may see things like this but others(like me) might not. Your putting a line on what synesthesia is and I find it very offensive. Also a computer can’t create something so majestic and wonderful. If you don’t have synesthesia then I’m so sorry but you will never be able to see what we see. This app is horrible and offensive and I regret ever pressing the download button. Show more

    Warning
I don’t think this app would be suitable for people with epilepsy! This will definitely trigger seizures! Please be careful when downloading this app! You would think that they would give some kind of warning. Show more

    More colors
I love the idea of this app, I haven't quite figured it out yet but it is easy to use and kind of fun/satisfying to watch. I would have given 4.5 stars but that is not an option so four it is because I wish there where more shades of each color. Show more
