Track Studio

Screenshots

Track Studio helps you learning and transcribing your favourite tunes by changing the speed and pitch of the track in real-time. You also have access to a handy "skip back" button and AB looper, to get through the trickier bits. Please note: since the app needs to process the full audio's waveform, the song needs to be available on your device. Unfortunately, the most popular streaming services don't offer access to the whole audio file to third-party apps since all files are protected by Digital Rights Management technologies :(
What’s New
- Fixed background play. - Turning off the loop will keep playing from the current position instead of starting over.

    Earrape + other glitches
Everything about the app is super good... It took me a little to figure out how to get files on there since it doesnt accept videos, but it was easy to use and i was able to get the files in my files app. The main problem is the glitches. I use this app mainly to edit music and then export it to flipaclip through the files app (iphone). Whats weird is that when i listen to the audio in files, it sounds normal and exactly like how i tuned it. When i put it on flipaclip, however, it starts fading in and out, weird glitchy loud noises, etc. starts happening. I tried other things too, such as screen recording it or converting it to mp3 / wav and screen recording it there. When I do that, however, it bass boots the audio by a ton and it ends up being really scary. The app itself and all the features work well, its just the file transport to other things that messes it all up. (Sorry if the review is unprofessional, I’m really young and have almost no experience with audio files etc, hope it helps (: Show more

    Great tool for learning songs
Not sure what the low ratings are all about. This is an indispensable tool for anyone who learns songs by ear. Could it be better? Sure, but it’s FREE! I use this on an iPad Pro to learn guitar parts, and it’s been pretty stable so far. Developer: if you’re reading this, I would suggest including a control on the pitch adjustment that allows for fine-tuning in cents in addition to half-steps. Not on all music recorded is in perfect pitch, and it would be easier to fine-tune the song than to retune a guitar; if someone is using this with piano, they’re pretty much out of luck in this case. Additionally, landscape mode on the iPad would be nice. Thanks for a great tool! Show more
