TRAX is the last and only app you will need this year if you: Play gigs in your local pub, provide music for your local church or anywhere on stage. Get rid of all those single feature apps and consolidate into one fully featured backing and split tracks app. TRAX enables you to navigate anywhere within a song in a live environment with the simple touch of a button. Load in your song and place markers for the different sections of your song and you are ready to go. TRAX is also perfect for teachers and students wanting to practice to a backing track as it enables a musician to repeat any section of a song as many times as they like. As a drummer, the developer Marc Castles grew frustrated with other apps that are too limited and don't work well in live environments. Therefore he set out to create TRAX and is always improving it so that TRAX continues to be the best live backing tracks solution available. Currently TRAX is available for less than $20 and offering a 100% money back guarantee. You’ve got nothing to lose from trying this out. We don’t believe in hiding in app purchases therefore you get the full product from a single payment. FEATURES • Stage Friendly Interface • Infinite Playlists • Waveform Generation • Bar Based Guides • Infinite Buttons & Labels • Section Progress • Double Tap to Loop Sections • Set Sections to Automatically Loop and Skip • Independent Left/Right Channel Volume • Import Songs from iTunes as well as Mail, Safari, Google Drive etc. (via the Share Action Extension) • Edit Song Details • Search iTunes Library and Playlists FEEDBACK & SUPPORT If you have any questions please visit the TRAX website https://thetraxapp.com or email us at support@thetraxapp.com We love to hear from you! Once tracks are uploaded it’s fine but so many bugs
Well this is what happens when an app isn’t upgraded or supported for over 3 years. The import errors and bugs are so plentiful as to render this app not worth the time. Show more

    Amazing! Changed live music performance
I perform using backup tracks and used MP3s on an iPod forever. We could never tell where we were and we were locked to the recorded arrangement of the song.Tracks enables us to have complete freedom over arrangements live in real time. Repeat a solo or infinitely loop a solo until you tap on the next segment of the song. And you can always visually see where you are in the song. We never get lost anymore and we have the freedom to stretch out solos and change arrangements live. I absolutely love this program. Hoping it keeps up with revisions for future future OS because I have created 350 songs for this program so I’m very locked in to TRAX. Show more

As a solo musician this is # one I’ve tried them all.⭐️??
This app changes everything for me, I can use it exactly how I was using my old RM1X Sequencer in pattern mood and song mood. This is what I have been searching for and I can play my tracks the same way I have been playing them, just waiting for the up scroll button update, and hopefully a midi features 5⭐️’s ??? for me. SO CLOSE TO PERFECT but lack of Import/Export/Cloud/misc bugs.
I have tried ALL of the other backing track apps for my restaurant piano business. TRAX is absolutely right for my needs and is a stunning testament to the developer’s skills and the entire iOS design model. I can easily see where I am in a song; each section is labeled just as I want it, and I have progress bars on each section to know how far I am into them. The app has crashed periodically but never shut down while playing my tracks over 100+ gigs, and I think I trust it more than I would trust a computer to run my backing tracks. However: here’s a potential dealbreaker. There is absolutely NO import/export functionality, and there is no cloud storage for tracks. This may sound small, but not if you have any kind of a sizable setlist. Here are just a few situations in which it matters: -you want to have a backup iPad (totally reasonable given the type of app this is) -you get a new iPad -you spent 6 hours customizing your tracks in the free version of the app, assuming there was an export function or “restore purchases” functionality to activate the app upon purchase (neither exists) -Marzipan comes around and you want to run this app on a Mac We’re all paying for iCloud Drive storage and the files involved here are tiny. Competing apps (such Loop Community Prime which is FREE) store every element of every track in the cloud and some even provide free cloud storage space! The developer is clearly INCREDIBLY GOOD at what they’re doing. The concept of this app is incredibly good and it’s generally very well executed, with no fat and clear visuals. But it’s not worth spending 2-3 performances worth of time MANUALLY lifting EVERY detail of my massive setlist over to the exact same app because basic data management practices aren’t integrated. When Marzipan arrives, this sort of snag will be an even bigger deal. Features I’d like to see implemented: -better time indication overall, such as labels on each block so I can tell if they are 1 bar long or 64; -better time metrics and indicators throughout to help me conceptualize where I am in the tune and my set -better integration and visibility of metadata and song notes -multiple audio track/stem support -fade out button and other useful large action buttons -more ergonomically friendly layout (larger buttons or controls like pan, etc, better ability to get to a song’s info panel while playing without having to poke at a tiny i icon when a miss could stop the music completely) and -clarity and consistency about what happens when another song is chosen while one is currently playing (it should highlight with some sort of “next” or “pending” graphic like the looped sections have and should auto-load and/or begin when user presses arrow button at bottom or when current song ends) -customization and flexibility around audio file start and end -MIDI sync or external display support so bandmates can see where we are in the song and what’s next -some sort of live sync to another iPad for redundancy Show more

    Game changer
Top 40’s wedding band here. This app is THE app to use for looping, playing back, seamlessly going from one song to next, etc. I don’t want to knock other app creators as they all serve their purpose and I’m sure they worked on them really hard - so let’s just say I’ve tried them all and this one beats them all! Bugs
This app could simply be amazing, and when it works it is. Unfortunately I'm encountering many bugs in this app while trying to add in-points for verse, chorus and so on. Any time you delete a point it screws the app up. Some suggestions for bettering this app would be making the play and next Buttons across the entire bottom of the app. Make them huge for triggering the tracks. Those are after all the most used buttons. Another suggestion would be support for multiple stems. Some apps support multiple outputs to run separate click, cue and stereo tracks. Show more

Trax is just what I was looking for
For years as a worship leader I have been looking for a solution to using recorded accompaniments for when a live band is not available. The problem with recorded accomps is that you have no flexibility as far as how many times you repeat a verse or chorus. Trax makes this possible. It has worked flawlessly for me. I now have full control over where the music goes. I can't wait to see what Marc adds in future updates. Show more
