Trope Toolbox enables users to learn, review, and teach the Ta'amei HaMiqra (cantillation symbols) for the reading of the Torah, Haftarot, and Megillat Esther. The app helps students learn the subtle but important differences between the cantillation systems.
What’s New
This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon. This is a long overdue update to keep up with recent devices. I've added the trope for Esther

    Forget about it!
I wish I read all the reviews before purchasing it, (amateur move on my part). It does not work... useless.

    Don't waste your $
Keeps crashing and tropes are not right. Look elsewhere.

    No Sound
Hi, what happen to the Sound?

Where does this trope come from?
In my 32 year career as a Cantor, I have never heard this version of trope before. This app would be much more useful with more common melodies for the tropes. I erased the app from my phone as soon as I heard it Show more

    Trope
Was this for sefard? I am Ashkenazic and this is of no use to me.

    Not worth purchasing
Waste of money. The intonations are incorrect for Ashkenazi and the cantor cannot hit the right pitch. I purchased it to help my son prepare for his bar mitzvah and it is unusable. Show more

    A TrailBlazer
Thanks to the Rabbi for blazing the trail. A decent first pass at the trope but too limited. Hopefully a later version will have more of the full combinations that are required to chant the parshas correctly and I would expect a free upgrade!! Shalom! Show more

Worth 90 cents but costs 99
This is mildly helpful but does not help combine sounds or teach any but the most rudimentary single symbols. Takes up space. Wish I could delete but I'm new to the iTouch. Show more
