All I need is a tuner that works… this works for me… it plays the pitch… it may not work for those who can not keep the pitch in mind as your string is played… but years of accapelo singing allows me to keep pitches in mind… it may not work as well for others but to me it’s all I need. Ok
Ok for people who have good hearing, but not good for use in noisy environment. Lacks a visual.

    Garbage
Don't waste your time down loading. There's no microphone use within the app to read your tuning.

    Bad
    Sound cuts off

    Don't download
Pitch is off and the note stops playing before you can adjust your knob.

    Just a farmer
    Use it everyday!

Does what it says, but why does it exist?
As stated, it plays the 5 notes, which sound like they were recorded with an original iPhone. There is a photo of a banjo in the background, so it's kinda banjoish. However, this useless piece of cr-app appears to only exist to run ads. Show more

    Not a tuner
This app does not work as a tuner, it only plays the notes of each string on tap, so you can only tune if you have three hands and an ear for notes. Show more

    Simple & effective
Love it and use it constantly. I need the note to cut off so I can tune properly so no complaints on the duration of the note played
  • EchoGKilo, 20.11.2015
Garbage - even for being free
The notes sustain for about half a second and you have to keep pressing a button to ring the note again; there's no time to get back to the banjo to adjust in time. Also, there's more than one note being played at a time. Second star is for aesthetic appeal - simple design is nice but functionality executed horribly. Show more

    Not so good
Does not read what tuning yr instrument is in, only provides standard tuning, and notes do not sustain.

    Amazing!!
Banjo tuner is incredible and so simple. Just click and tune. Couldn't be better and always gets my banjo (Sara) back on track. Thanks!
  • toot_toot_bear_toots, 28.01.2015
    It works I guess
It does standard banjo tuning which is all I wanted, but I wish the tuning notes would play continually instead of just once.

    Not good
Only standard tuning, littered with ads, better free options
