    Stopped Outputting Sound
    Note: I have NOT uddated to iOS 11, for fear several older apps such as this will stop working. I remain at 10.3.3. And as of this morning it no longer works. I tried the usual trick of shutting down and back up. The app is as mute as the stones. May as well delete. Show more

    good samples, filters and playability. no MIDI or Audiobus/IAA. added a star cuz it's free.

    This is a hidden Gem in the app store!
    Hexaphone sounds great, plays awesome, has good beats, copy & paste, and the super-cool keyboard layout! I've almost all of the well known synth apps (Morphwiz, Alchemy, Thumjam, NLog, Geo, Sunrizer, Soundprism, Bebot, Tachyon, you get the idea..) but Hexaphone still packs a great sound and great playability and is used as much as any of those others! Please make this app universal (I respect why it was made this way for the Iphone, but it would be nice to have it on the Ipad as well) and please please include Audiobus on this sucker when it comes out, I'd hate for this to fade into the backround!!!     I could go on about it needs this or that, but I like to just enjoy it, I like hating thirds etc. I wish you would put a little more emphasis on learning music. That is why I have it. Thank you Show more

    Intuitive simple and great
    Straightforward and now saves easily to audiocopy or email. Love the blues scale hexaboard with the tritones.

    Awesome
    Love this app. Able to come up with some really cool ditties. Like that you can record but wish it was more than one at a time. Really fun app.

    No MIDI, No ADSR, No use.
    This app lacks a few key things that would make it more useful: A) AudioCopy/Gen. Pasteboard support so you can record phrases that can be imported into an arranging app. B) ADSR controls... the most basic envelope in synthesis. C) MIDI support of some sort, although if I had to choose between AudioCopy/Gen. Pasteboard support and MIDI I'd go with the former. As is, not much more than a jam toy. If that's what you're after though then by all means try it out. The interface is pleasant enough to look at. Show more

    This app is just plain great. I have only one grief: there is a somewhat limited amount of samples to choose from, other than that it is perfect.

    Great learning tool for musician wanna-be's
    This app is amazing. I know very little about music but I can actually 'jam' with this app and make things sound good. It's true that it is impossible to hit a bad note with the hexatonic scale (I had no idea what that even was before this app). Very cool! Show more

    This is cool
    Update: since downloading this a year ago, this is still one of my favorite apps. It's gotten even better and easier to use too. Keep it up! Original: Today I downloaded fun and endless creativity. It's like a vibraphone and a Yamaha keyboard in my pocket. Very cool keyboard design and amazing sound quality. Plug into some good speakers and be prepared to rock the neighbors. The percussion loops offer a good selection too. The iPad makes it even more fun although I was hoping to see more keys without scrolling. Thanks for this. Show more

    Not worth it
    Sounds like crap overly priced. If you're looking for a good instrument app look elsewhere.

    Not bad I guess. Probably more like a $1 app. Keys are not very responsive even with the "key illumination" turned off. Found best results with keeping my finger on the screen and sliding to new notes. Show more

    Not too shabby...
    I play multiple instruments including guitar & piano, I find this app to be well developed; so far no issues. I generally use this app to assist in my own creative process. With this app I can easily navigate through different scales and keys to get the sound that I like and then a transfer that knowledge into my work on my instrument. I haven't messed around with loops yet so I can't review that but overall I like this app so far. (This is the first review I have written in the 3 years that I have had an iPhone, if that says anything...) Show more
