Hi! My favorite instrument is the piano and I wanted to learn the piano so I thought to myself, “if I want to learn the piano, I could get a piano game!!” So I looked for a piano game and all the other piano apps I downloaded wasn’t free and then I saw this. And I saw it was COMPLETELY free. So I downloaded this game and I loved it right away. I’m not perfect at the piano but this app is making it easier to learn the piano. And I love composer were you get to make your own songs, and my friend has smule to and me like to compose songs and play each other’s songs. But there is one problem. And this problem doesn’t mean I like this game any less, I promise. The problem is all the ads. If I click a song, BAM ad, if I finish a song, BAM ad, randomly, BAM ad. And every one who is making these reviews are complaining about the ads and if everyone is complaining about the ads, why don’t you just take them out? Well, that’s all time I had. bye! I loved this app, before I moved on other stuff but, when I came back with my new iPhone every time I tapped with 3 or 4 fingers a weird white thing pops up at the top. Then leaves when I take my fingers off and it does this every time. Other than that I have no problem with the game. I just wish there was a faster way to get smula when your just watching ads. Maybe 10 smula is a better option the 5. I know you’re trying to get more money. But it’s kinda annoying watching ad after ad, and if you don’t have any of the other apps you offer the smula for it’s annoying. Show more

So the games fun and all but when ever a ad comes up and i try to press the skip thing it lets me skip the ad then when the little x on the corner of the screen appears and i try to click it it dose not let me and i exit the app and another ad appears the same thing happens. Show more

i mean it's a fine app but you're just playing the same 10-20 songs over and over again because you have to pay for all but like 9 songs and you have to watch a video before and after every free song and even ones you got with the in game currency so like whatever it's fine but there's not a lot there to do Show more

I would love to give it a 5-star but when I try to play 3 or 4 fingers it glitches. So sadly I can’t say I have had the best experience but I will give it to you it’s a great game. Show more

So I remember getting this app back when i was like 5-6 thinking that it would be fun, and it was! I wasn't that good so I just used practice mode to play the songs. I deleted the app because I got Minecraft or something. I got this back because I was really bored and was feeling nostalgic. I have enjoyed it so far and have even published some songs i made. I have 2 problems. 1) Smoola. Everyone is complaining. But it makes sense! You get 1 Smoola per level and only some from achievements. Yet, songs cost 25 or even 75 to play just to get around 450 xp which isn't even a sixth of the xp in 1 level. "Watch an ad for 5" only 1/3 of the time does that work and its not reliable. Could be better like making songs only 15 or making levels give 2-3 Smoola 2) Composer. To be honest you did a pretty good job! Sadly, there are some limits. First lets start with the key signiture. No one uses it. All you do is switch it to Chromatic just to get sharps and flats. Secondly, time signature freedom is nonexistent. If you made it so that the measures were more clear and maybe even show some of the notes in sheet music form it would be easier to use. Thanks for reading. Have fun! Ok so I downloaded this game because I wanted to learn the piano and there is a couple thing that I want to say about this game. Ok so first I recently started taking lessons and after playing this game for about a year I have nothing to show for it! Also, there is like four free songs then to unlock more songs you have to use points and to get points you have to either play for hours or buy points for a insane amount of money. So if you want to play the piano I suggest you don’t use this app.? Show more

Tell me how I’ve had an account for YEARS, accumulated so many songs (either free ones or I’ve purchased them), and now when I go to play any of My Songs, more than half of them come up as “You can no longer access this song.” And then it tells me to subscribe if I want to play it. No thanks. Very upsetting. Show more

Hey I love this game it’s awesome but if you could make a mode where we play with our friends it’s a 4 and a half star rating but I have to put 4 because I can’t do half But anyway please make a pvp but make sure you can just search someone’s name and friend them thank you for reading Show more

I downloaded the game but I was not able to play it for some reason I gave it a 3 bc I played it on my besties iPad and it was also apple so idk why it didn’t work for me I thought it crashed but i deleted the app and got it again but it still didn’t work. Show more

There should be where you can pick an instrument a violin as the beauty of a violin when played correctly with the right is beyond compare and way more relaxing than a piano and emotional than most modern instruments Show more

So I love magic piano and always played it on my tablet since I was about 6 (7 years ago). It had the best features and I loved it! But there used to be this one mode in the game that said something like “one finger tapping only”. I never really used it but when I did use it, it was so cool and really you couldn’t get misses unless you put multiple fingers. So I now wonder, “Where did it go?” Sure I’ll search it up in a second but I want a response from you Smule! I need an answer on why it’s not there anymore from our many enjoyable moments and times together… So R.I.P one finger tapping, you will be missed since Magic Piano is basically probably discontinued anyway. But please tell me where it went? Show more

there are some songs where it is literally impossible to get ur little “perfect” score because the whole was played correctly. It makes no sense, I couldn’t play a song perfectly multiple times with no mistakes every time and still not get that little perfect score. It’s super annoying and I also hate the glitchiness Show more

Fun

Had this app for years across different iPhones, never had an issue until now: when playing a song a white bar with options keeps appearing in the middle of the screen with text at the top saying “nothing to undo” CONSTANTLY. Particularly I noticed it appearing when playing notes that require 3 or 4 fingers. It’s almost like it thinks it’s in some kind of editing mode. In any case it’s so distracting that it makes normal play impossible. Please fix Smule team, Show more
