I’ve been using this app since 2013. The app has changed a lot since then, but the version before the revamp was the best. Now the app is ad-ridden, only in Japanese, and the app constantly bugs you to upgrade to premium. This app used to be completely FREE for years, as well as NicoVideo, now there’s a subscription model just like with YouTube. It’s a shame this app has gone downhill. How the mighty have fallen. NicoBox was always my preferred way to listen to Vocaloid music. Right now, I can’t say it is due to Nico’s greediness and inability to create a good UI. Edit: Why’d you change the name of the app?! It was fine as NicoBox for years! People used this app for more than just Vocaloid too! Now the name is generic and has nothing to do with “Vocaloid Collecting”. Good, but huge issue. How the heck do I change the language to English??? There is an English version, yet no instructions on how to change it??? I can’t understand a thing and I’m pretty sure I accidentally logged out of my account… but how do I log back in if I can’t even read anything? I’ve used this app for a while, and I’m trying to look for the settings that can switch the language to English. Either I’m not able to find it or there’s no English setting…so can you please make an English version or a setting to make the text English?? Show more

It was really good but I wish all the songs had English translation in the name bc what if someone wanted to look up that song on YouTube or tell a friend what it’s called, what are we supposed to do learn Japanese?but yeah the music was really good Show more

Never thought niconico had such a music streaming app. This is much better than YouTube and SoundCloud as I like to listen to some unpopular anime/galgame songs. Really like it.

NicoBox is an awesome app for fans of Japanese music like Vocaloid or j-pop. Nothing compares in terms of availability and sound quality. However, English support is greatly lacking. If you can manage to navigate the UI, it’s well worth it as a supplement to another more mainstream music platform. Show more

What happened to language switch? I need it

I have been using nicobox for years now and it has always been my favorite. There is not only all the selection and choices for vocaloid music and cover from different artists and producers, you can also directly support their music by giving them the views on niconico. Since vocaloid music is not so mainstream, it is hard to find some of the songs on other mainstream music app like Spotify and Apple Music. The recent major update just looks so clean as well, the entire UI is revamped and I love it. Show more

This app is pretty good! But there’s a little bug. At the “playlists” part, there’s a thing at the bottom that says, “how to keep playlists?” I clicked it, and everything was Japanese, and it wanted me to signup for something and I didn’t even know what it was. Please fix this. Show more

Where would i be without this app to sustain my vocaloid addiction

Whenever I try to fast forward to a certain part, it won’t let me. Otherwise nice app!

I like the app and i don't have to download each song in my phone. But for a few weeks it unable to play music offline and it just freezes the screen. Can I get an update? Show more

Songs take too long to load if they aren’t cached already.

I love this app dearly, but now The app started to not play any songs even if it was online or offline! Help fix it please

I use this app to listen to all my favorite utaites. I can listen to music even if l leave the app, use another app, or turn off my phone, and I can use it to listen to music with or without wifi. The app can create playlists without having to make an account. On playlists you can shuffle the songs, make your favorite song looped, and make the playlist repeat itself. I've played this song while sleeping and its still playing music when I wake up. To top it all off this app uses very little battery so you can use it all day without having to worry about your battery. I would like to thank the creators if this app ? Show more

I find the app quite user-friendly. It even features trending charts to introduce fresh songs on a regular basis. I appreciate how I could organize and enjoy my music with maximum ease.
