    Be careful.....
You need a subscription to keep the good beats going, :(

    Had it for a year!
Love it! Great writing tool . I play guitar and sing and record it all on GBand . The app can be recorded there. I prefer real acoustic drums for everything but this gives my drummer and bass player a clear picture to go from before rehearsal . Great as a future reference for song ideas /writing tool. I wish there were more swing beats and surf beats . No surf beats on mine. Total control of tempo and volume . It’s a keeper. Show more

Use this a lot for writing new music
Very useful tool for organizing preproduction samples for band rehearsal of new music presentations

Ugh, pay $5 just to be charged monthly
The basic version is fine, but after paying $5 I didn’t expect I’d have to pay monthly to expand the drum loop selection. Really annoying. Maybe Lee looking unless you only need the basics done well. Show more

    Learning tool
Great app. I use it while doing my pad work out. It’s helped me think and feel better.

    Getting better with time, but..
Could you please add some Start, Ending effects for each rhythm, as well as two different styles/patern for the same rhythm which could be used/interchanged when playing a song? This would be nice as well for having rhythm intro and ending loops. I think this could be controlled with compatible pedals. Thanks. Show more

    You got me
So glad I paid money for an app that requires more money to use it. You got me but you won’t be keeping me. Good way to get money off of people and give them garbage. Thanks for nothing. The beats you did supply for the download price are prob worth .99. I’ll just stick to my metronome. Thanks for nothing. Show more

    Pretty sweet
Never changing can get old but they sound real

This is NOT the old app
Most of the worthwhile beats are now not just extra $$ but annual subscription. $20/year. Are you kidding me? For low resolution samples that sound like a 1980s drum machine? I was only barely willing to pay for this app but that was with the understanding that I’d have the same library of sounds that my guitar player has on his older version of the app. Not so. They dumbed it down with so they can hit you up for more money. I wish I could return this. There are better free apps available. Show more

Developer should consider editing iOS compatibility
First, let me say the features of drumbeats plus rhythm machine Make it uniquely useful For Practicing, recording, and performing musicians. It has improved my timing, and therefore, my confidence as a solo performer, playing a vital role increasing opportunities to earn income as a musician. The developer is responsive and thoughtful. I feel that the app is underpriced Compared to the benefit. Be aware that, although the app description claims compatibility with iOS 12, the latest update may not work properly with your AirTurn duo in an iOS 12 environment. 6/16/21 The latest app update came with technical problems. My AirTurn Duo pedal will no longer trigger the “play” and “stop” function of the app, instantly rendering it useless for live gig work. It’s still a fun practice app, but I am -3 stars worth of disappointed. Especially since the update self-installed on my iPhone 6 running iOS 12.5.4 without my permission and let me down at a show. 6/18/21 Update. I solved the problem by switching to an phone 6s that runs iOS 14.6, so I now am only -1 star worth of disappointed that I have to reconfigure which iOS device is relegated to drum duty. Show more

    Not worth a hoot
It costs 5$ to download, you’d think there was some content! But no! Theres a few free loops but nothing worth $5. Like ZERO Latin beats. Sheeeesh. Don’t be fooled by this one. Show more

    Great for music teachers
I love to use this app with my students. I only wish there were more rhythms with an emphasis on 2 and 4.

Lol this is a freemium for $5?
All beware, you have to buy further memberships after the $5. What a rip off.
  • beefyking, 07.12.2020
Know what you’re getting... and not getting.
I should have read the info a bit more prior to purchase, as I assumed that paying for an app means you get all the content. I feel as though I just paid $5 for a freemium version. What I need requires investing more money than it’s worth. Show more

Simple and effective but a rip off
Charges you money for only a few beats the minority of good drum loops require you to fork over even more money to purchase the “Pro” package. Just seems sleezy to me. Show more

    Perfect for teaching and practicing
I love this app! I wish there were more rhythms in 3/4 and odd time signatures but in general I love the 100+ genres to practice with. I use it both for practicing and teaching my students. Way more fun than a metronome. Show more

    Paid for nothing
I bought this for 5$ and got nothing but short beats and offers to upgrade and subscribe. What did I pay for? Total waste. Use YouTube for free
