This is a great app for recording through direct line in, microphone, or midi. I’ve never had problems with it crashing but perhaps that’s cuz I’m using a iPad Pro. I run various plugins like AmpliTube, Sampletanks, etc. without issue. The user interface takes a little getting used to but then work flow runs smoothly. It’s definitely paired down compared to say, Pro Tools, but for home recording it does a pretty good job. I would definitely recommend this. Show more

Don’t ditch us please! A lot of us are still here and hoping you guys can keep this alive! When I first bought this app there were a lot of issues I know. But I blame most of our pain on apple and you are always struggling to deal with that but I absolutely love mixing with Auria! I’ll hold strong to the bitter end. Thanks for all the endless amounts of blood ,sweat, and tears you have all put in to develop this and keep it going. Much love and thanks! Show more

I’ll give 5 stars as soon as I can reach the Auria Store. When I try to connect the timer spins then a message saying, “Cannot connect to server, make sure you’re not in airplane mode.” HELP!!! Show more

Please continue to update! This is a refresh, a couple of regular updates away from being a complete recording and mixing solution on iOS. It’s great!

I had high hopes, and I paid $52 with tax, and low and behold…… I can’t even upload an audio file, I tried several times! Sooooooo if I can’t import an audio file this app is useless til the bug is fixed, please do not buy until bug is fixed! Show more

I read the reviews and saw that this was a powerhouse and the best DAW, the closest to a desktop DAW, supposedly. I immediately opened it up and started watching a tutorial and learning the app. I touched the keyboard option on the top left corner and the app crashed. I then restarted my iPad. Tried again…crashed. Reset settings, same outcome. Then I reinstalled the app and made sure my OS was running the latest version, only to find that Auria crashed again. I then avoided the keyboard option and tried launching an AU3 app and it did not show the app, which left that option useless. I’m waiting to see if customer support responds to the forum, but getting close to ask for a refund. A $49 app should not need crash support on day 1! Show more

I want my money back.

I recorded 4 tracks,sent bass and drums to a sub,then keys and guitar to a sub,compressed the drum and bass sub,then used a different compressor on the other sub- I AM NOW UNABLE TO OPEN THE SESSION,SAYS CLOSE APPS IN THE BACKGROUND AND TRY AGAIN-THE SESSION,THE SONG IS NOW UNREACHABLE. I DELETED AURIA AND WILL NOW REINSTALL TO TRY AGAIN,USING MUCH LESS PROCESSING AND MAKING MIXDOWNS SO I CAN STILL OPEN THE SESSION. Show more

Ive given it over a year and i can honestly say its garbage. A) non stop crashes, B) designer doesn’t understand how a subgroup or aux function on a real console C)Piano roll is horrible, has trouble correctly playing thru rhythmic changes, gets locked into a groove and doesnt change despite the notes being completely different. D) Uses a massive amount of storage. I had an 8 minute piece i was working on, 24 tracks at 48khz that used up more storage than a 90min 24 track @ 96khz orchestral recording i had done for work. . Go to their forum, notice how most of the posts are from 3 or more years ago, there is a reason for that, actually many, i just listed four for you so you dont have to go to the trouble of discovering them….the only saving grace is it comes with fabfilter twin 2 and fabfilter one, which i love Show more

Please update to a better version, I'm waiting for 2021

I’ve just started using this app alongside Cubasis 3 and despite the fact that is seems to offer some more flexible mixing & mastering options, it’s just not very useable. First, the failure to support Apple’s file system is just stupid. Having to rely on DropBox or a transfer from a Mac to get files into Auria is an unnecessary inconvenience. Second, the implementation of touch control in the app is poor. The screen often fails to scroll appropriately and some elements are sluggish to respond. In some cases the screen will not scroll far enough to show all the elements (particularly in the mixer). Finally, I’ve experienced more freezing/crashing with this app than any other I’ve used despite having more than adequate resources available on my iPad. Show more

I’ve spent a lot of money over the years on various audio software searching for that all-in-one DAW. And I found it with iOS. This app has everything I need to produce studio quality recordings using its tools. This app and its developers deserves high appraisal for the amount of work put into it. Talk about powerful. This is exactly what this app is. The developers obviously had a vision and made it happen. There’s no reason this app deserves any low ratings other than one not scoping out, understanding and using this app to its full potential. And there’s a whole lot of room to create with this. I’m on an iPad 2020 version 12.9. I shouldn’t have frequent crashes just trying to duplicate a TRACK. SOME FEATS work when they want and that unacceptable for a $50 purchase. Developers rarely update the app to address these issues. This was a big disappoint and i really wish i could get my money back and invest into other iOS products. BM3, Cubasis, and AUM are worth the price this app is asking. Not Auria. Show more

Waiting for this app to get the facelift it deserved. It’s so powerful and had so much time and attention invested, then it seems to have been abandoned. I hope they resurrect this to its original glory. I loved having a powerful multitrack mixing tool that’s fed by AUM. Show more

This is a good app that has become plagued with real problems. I cannot help but think that the company has partially abandon the app (it is still updated sometimes, but nothing major). At this point, beyond its many bugs, it needs some serious feature updates to keep par with other current offerings. It feels like they may be preparing for a new version soon, or something, as the app has been in a holding pattern for a while (updates to keep it sort of working, without really updating the apps abilities). So maybe they have some surprises for us in the future. However, as it stands now, this app is not up to snuff for serious work. I hope this situation changes, this app should be the best of what’s out there, as it stands– It just isn’t. Show more

Everyday it is in a different mood. Every time you open it there will be a different something. I wasted my money buying this.

This is probably the most robust (described as such anyway) app. Cubasis 3 is good, but this one seemed to have a few more pro features. Unfortunately, the ones I need seem to be buggy. Would be happy to revisit this app in the future. Show more

When editing a midi track and you cut a section within the track the entire midi sequence gets the end of the file truncated.
