    Great App, Amazing support.
There are several itunes copying apps, but Dapper is smarter than the others. It does a lot more. After the first sync, it updates quickly because it keeps track of changes! Other apps don't do that. It actively syncs. The author is very responsive and helpful. FEATURE REQUEST: Please make it so we can choose which playlists to sync instead of having to make an extra folder or change names of playlists. Thanks for a great app. Show more

    Awesome app...
Dapper keeps my custom music players going as Apple changes their story. Awesome now to have lossless in Appls music.

    Wonderful software and support
I have been using Dapper for more than five years, and marvel at its timely updates, utility, and the superb video explications of its details. These videos are articulate and crystal-clear. I use a FiiO X5, which is unfriendly to playlists, and MapPin took the challenge in stride. This developer is in for the long haul. Thank you. Show more

    Customer Support
I haven't tinkered with it much, but one thing I know is the support is outstanding. It's a complex app, and the developer will go above and beyond to make sure you get started. Show more

    I got great support
I wrote earlier complaining that I couldn't log in to get support, hoping my review would be seen because I had no other way get attention. JL did see it and responded immediately--just as he has in the past. The issue was with a third party helpdesk provider, which the company is now going to change. And I got my problem solved. If I could retract the earlier review, I would. The customer service here is first-rate. Show more

    Fantastic Support and great app
Worked great for my FIIO X3 but initially had some issues with my M15. FIIO and Macs do not like each other that much. But DAPPER really overcomes that. The support is fantastic and personable and everything works now like a charm. Show more

Great Tool for Syncing Music Libraries
Works much better than the Android transfer application, is more efficient and intuitive. Well worth the money.

    Frustrating App
Thought this was going to be the bridge between my DAP and iTunes, but boy was this a waste of $20. There is no consistency with Dapper, changes every time it is connected. Not to mention that crappy customer service because they never get back to you. Show more

    Great, when it actually opens.
App frequently doesn't open. Initial setup is a bit time consuming for those of us with DAPs not listed. Once set up, Dapper works well, when it opens, which is only about one-third of the time. First few times, the developer responded in a timely manner, but failed to implement a permanent fix. More recently, the developer hasn't responded at all. Show more

    Great App
Best app to get your itunes or Apple Music Library to your Music Player. I've been using it for a couple of years with different music players and it works perfect. Also, support is great!!! Show more

The missing link for syncing DAPs with iTunes!
I have a FiiO X1 (1st gen) and Sony NW-A35 which were almost always out of date with my iTunes library and which also had none of my cherished playlists. It's always been my biggest gripe since my iPod Classic went kaput -- that modern DAPs have so many advantages (better SQ, high-res support) yet stink at one of the most basic things: syncing to iTunes. I just bought this insanely well conceived software after a tip from a member on the audio forum Head-Fi and after watching the developer's YouTube tutorial videos, and observing the extraordinary support and responsiveness to users by the developer on Head-Fi. Also, he puts out great new features frequently, and even personally responds (usually with news of a fix) to the very few poor reviews (among a sea of 5-star reviews) in the Mac App Store. At $19.99, for the value it offers -- it is an insanely good deal. Highly recommended! Show more

Makes My FiiO X5 easy to manage
I was given a FiiO X5. The problem, how to manage the music from OS X. Dapper solved the problem. Each update gets slightly better but as someone who runs the X5 daily hrough the whole house on vintage stereo equipment with HUGE speakers, I can’t even begin to tell you how much I appreciate the ease of using this app. Show more

    I LOVE this app
I love Dapper! I have a fiiO player and use iTunes and keeping my music synced manually before I got dapper was a major time drain and hassle. Dapper does it all automatically, and better than I could do manually. It can organize your files into alphabetical folders by letter, ignore ‘the’ in band names (The Rolling Stones goes with the Rs), add album art, and clean up the capitalization so everything looks clean. Most importantly it will sync your playlists, which I found next to impossible to do on a fiiO manually. I have had a few issues with Dapper but both times customer service was fast and personable and got me sorted. A+ customer service. Dapper is highly customizable and it is worth adjusting the settings to get the results you want. Highly recommended to anyone with a DAP who is frustrated by the manual sync process. Show more

It’s OK, but save your money.
Well, first of all I wouldn’t be in this position if Apple hadn’t discontinued the decent iPods in favor of touchscreen, do-everything crap. Lack of focus has relegated a great device to an afterthought. So, as my iPod Classic decided that the play button was an optional feature (after 10 years of sterling service I hasten to add), I was in the market for a ne Digital Audio Player. I liked the Classic (and particluarly the click wheel design) as it can be operated with one hand while driving. Touch screen devices are dangerous in the car, I don’t care what anybody says. Anyway, after testing a couple, I settled on the Fiio X3 2nd Gen, a logical progression from the iPod Classic (similar usability), and with better DAC capabilities. Now, I’ve kinda been going off iTunes for a while. All the social crap and liking of stuff isn’t for me, but it still handles Playlists reasonably well, and I missed not having them on my DAP. Enter Dapper. I read a lot of reviews, good, bad, indifferent, and rolled the dice on the $20 price tag (don’t quibble about the single cent discrepancy, it’s a twenty dollar program. It’s only $19.99 so you can advertise it as being less than twenty, in the real world it’s twenty bucks). It took a couple of times to get the hang of what it wanted to do. All iTunes playlists had to be renamed with Dapper as part of the name, kinda of annoying but not a deal breaker. The playlists are stored on the Fiio as .m3u files. The thing that has killed it for me, is that Dapper is inconsistent in the quality of the copy when transferring files. Files would play parts of other files in the middle, as if cut up and spiced back together. This happened on a number of different synchronizations. Nope, not due to the way that the files were imported (using AIFF, and ALAC formats). Something to do with the way that Dapper is transferring to the Fiio. So, bottom line save you money. Twenty bucks is a bit hefty for an app with such a glaring inconsistency. Now using Clementin to manage the Fiio playlists, and just dragging and dropping files from the iTunes library directly to the SD card in the DAP. One last thing to Apple, not that they’ll read this. Just bring back the iPod Classic with 128GB or 256GB flash storage (or and SD card slot like everyone else). It was an awesome player and you fricking idiots to have gotten rid of it. Addendum: Developer contacted me and I’ll try and work with them to fix the AIFF issue. Show more
