    Please Fix!!
    When we first started using this it worked great. That’s not the case anymore. Every time I try to connect my iPhone music to the app just like always before it doesn’t find it. It just keeps searching. Please fix this!! Show more

    Worked until iOS16 upgrsde
    That’s it. After upgrading, Remote3 stopped connecting with my TX-NR717. I suspect UDP blockage, but I won’t swear to it. App goes to Searching screen and I can’t get away from that screen to check settings. I am very disappointed after years of satisfaction with this app. Show more

    Please update, problems since iOS 16 update
    I have been using your app for speakers in our bathroom room for years and occasionally there’s a hiccup when updates happen. Can you please update that connection, however you do it, on your end please? Show more

    App Used to work with TX-NR747
    The app has worked well for years and now it cannot find the receiver on the network. I even tried using the new app and when given the network address it says the device is not controllable. Please fix your broken update. Show more

    does not find receiver
    My new TX-NR6100 receiver is hard wired on my network, firmware update went fine. Loaded this app to try remote control and it does not see the receiver. I am using the latest Google wireless router plugged into the ATT fiber router. My previous Yamaha receiver worked fine with the same network connection and my iPhone app. Onkyo please modernize this app to work properly or take it off the store. Show more

    Worked. Then Did Not Work.
    This app had always been a hit or miss with network connection. But I always knew how to troubleshoot it and get it to work. Then one day just like that it stopped working. I can see my device but it just won’t connect. I get a “Device Did Not Respond” message. Show more

    Abandoned
    This app is completely useless. No device is recognized. It hasn’t worked in years and has been completely abandoned by Onkyo.

    Needs an update badly!
    Unfortunately you cannot use Sirius and other streaming services as it wont connect. They need to update this app. The only thing I can do is turn volume up and down. With pandora you also cannot change channels as it goes back to connecting mode. Show more

    Stopped working with iOS 15
    This app stopped working with new iPhone ios15 operating system. Guess there’s no app upgrade in the works?

    Very unreliable
    It’s been hit or miss with this system and remote app for several years. About to junk it and try some other company’s products.

    App should be named Searching for device app
    It does what it does okay but it is very annoying that it always has to spend 15s or more searching for device every time you want to make a change a volume change or any change. Show more

    Where’s the menu button?!
    Much much better than remote 2. But.. I logged out of Pandora, and now I can’t log in or delete accounts because, I no longer have the physical remote, and I need to press the menu button, but there is no menu button on the front panel, or in the app! So close, but, NO SPUMONI FOR YOU! Show more

    Unreliable
    Almost never connects to my Onkyo receiver so is basically useless. The receiver itself also has very poor quality wireless connections. The WIFi audio link rarely connects and when it does, it drops after a few minutes. And I have no bandwidth issues. Show more

    Almost Useless
    This app hardly ever works correctly. Most of the time it can’t find the device even though they are on the same network. I wished this company would care about their customers enough to give us an app that works. Show more

    Worst app ever
    Works well for a week...maybe two. Then...no connection. You have to unplug the receiver for a couple of minutes and if you are lucky, it will reconnect. Don’t get me started with the quality of their receivers. I won’t be purchasing another one. Show more

    Stopped working
    Like many others have mentioned, this app has just stopped working. They have a new app that supports 2016 and newer receivers, but the rest of us are just out of luck. Given this and other recent Onkyo lack of support, I really believe the company is struggling to stay afloat. Times must be tough for a small company who’s main product line (receivers) is a dying breed. It’s just too bad because Onkyo WAS my favorite receiver Show more

    Fixed!
    I was one of those with an older receiver (TX-NR414 from 2012) who had given up all hope for functionality from this app over the last couple of years. Today, for some reason, I tried it again and it is working again. Some combination of a new iphone SE, newer iOS, and maybe some work on Onkyo’s part. Thanks. Show more

    Stopped working
    By TSmith This app used to work great and now will not connect. I performed all troubleshooting recommendations as well as trying new approaches to no avail. Extremely disappointing as this app came in very handy and I used it on a daily basis. Show more
