Would like a specific Blues category

I have been using Tomplay for about a year and I think it is the best music learning app in existence. I am intermediate level on the trumpet and the app is fantastic. I can find new sheet music, listen to high quality versions with and without trumpet and/or vocals, record, share, etc. I am very impressed. It has helped me tremendously and the app makes learning more fun. I would highly recommend Tomplay. Show more

At least finish the trio

I decided to try this for some sheet music, there were multiple notation errors, and incorrect notes, the quality of transcriptions are poor, and when I went to try to print the music it rendered incorrectly When I attempted to cancel this, I received multiple errors telling me that I could not cancel this during the trial, I contacted the developer multiple times also with errors. Finally, I was able to get on on a web browser on an old PC and get to a page that let me cancel but only after I have been charged for the year As a person who tries a lot of trials, I didn’t think this happened in 2022 anymore, where a well written review seriously delegitimizes your software. I have canceled other trials and have people offer free additional time and really stood behind selling me on how good their software was In contrast, when I finally received a response from the developer, I was informed that” this sometimes happens “ and they would be able to offer me a partial refund only. The cancel subscription button is deliberately broken. I will reconsider my review, partially if I am given a full refund, you shouldn’t treat people during trial, where as if they have buyers remorse if you aren’t trying to have fraud ware. Show more

Misleading

I like this app but I would make 2 suggestions. My idea was to learn my new instrument by learning beginner level a song, then easy or intermediate and finally the advanced version of the same song. Imagine my disappointment when I master beginner and easy and then the intermediate level was in a different key(with 5 sharps !?). Make them all the same key. Next in the same vein, how about the ability to transpose the key?? That would really be helpful. Otherwise, good app. Show more

So much fun to play with an orchestra again!

Easy level. The sheet music uses 8th notes on the fill-ins. The drum part is playing triplets. I think this makes it confusing and more difficult for young players. I’m new to this program. Did I miss something? If this is the only minor flaw, this is ok. The program is a fantastic teaching tool!!?? Show more

I Love the professional arrangements and sheet music. The charts are written to sound like the originals but for the respected instrument. Keep it up! My only critic would be to have open solo sections, like a loop in the form of the song. Show more

App is good, but man, why do I need to stare at the logo animation and wait for 20 seconds every time I open this app? Can’t you skip the splash screen and just take me directly to my last viewed scores? Show more

I personally search for these kind of apps and when I found TomPlay, I was so excited! ?So I made an account of course and started browsing through the options for violin music.? I found a free one I loved and got sooooo addicted! I enjoy this app, it’s easy, accessible, and fun to use! ?However, I do wish there were more songs that are free of charge. After a week of downloading the app, I kind of got bored and deleted it after finding only 3 easy songs that they don’t charge for! ?I think this app has so much potential for young musicians, but don’t make us pay over $10 for a sheet of music. ?I understand you can play along and edit different settings, but let’s be honest here. Having to pay rent or buy an instrument is enough, so learning and growing your talent shouldn’t cost more! ?Thanks for your time and effort for this! God Bless! ? Show more

Need content for Ukelele. I enjoyed using it for piano.

I don’t know what happened during this latest update but the app is performing terribly. I’m a Tomplay user from day 1 and gig with this app also. But since the update, the touch screen use is terrible and frustrating. I’ve restarted by iPad Pro many times and even deleted the App several times and reloaded it. Same issues…hit a specific song, get a totally different song. Can’t move the cursor, advance the music, hit a folder but get a song instead. I hope this gets fixed soon…it’s embarrassing fumbling with an App onstage…=/ Show more

Wish they would allow more titles in the “frequently used” portion of the program. It only keeps three pieces and frequently I rotate through 8-10 pieces to practice on a given day/week. I end up having to scroll through all my titles to find the next piece I want to practice. Please allow for more titles to be placed in the “frequently used” area so that my other titles don’t get removed from it. Thanks. Show more

Will never use again. Waste of money

Nice selection of great music with orchestral backgrounds. So much fun. I only wish they offered Christian music of modern-day and hymns so we could use this in church. Please provide a genra of Christian music if possible.✝️??❤️ Show more
