Bluetooth no longer stays connected. This app is one of the main reasons I got my THR30II. Solid job, as always, Yamaha. Maybe you can just abandon this like you did the THR100. Brilliant. Show more

This app is NOT working. I just updated my amp firmware to 1.4 and the app is no longer functional. It freezes every time I pair and try to switch between presets. I was excited to use the new firmware features but the app is essentially useless now and I can't. VERY disappointed in Yamaha right now. Show more

I used to have no complaints with using this app, it worked perfectly as it was. A new update ruined it and basically made it non functional with an IOS device. It can barley stay connected for even a minute without disconnecting from my THR. Yamaha, Please fix this ASAP. Show more

I have a thr10ii and it’s a fantastic amp, but this app is quiet bad. It will connect through Bluetooth for about a minute or two before disconnecting again. Mine hasn’t been connecting all night so I can’t use it to control my amp, quite frustrating considering about half of the amps range comes from this app and to have it not work is super annoying Show more

11/24: App worked OK after update and firmware update with 14.1. Now with ios 14.2 it’s broken again. Yamaha you need developers that can keep up with OS updates. Apple you need to give developers more time and better notice and docs if you’ve made changes to CoreAudioKit framework or Bluetooth LE midi. ——- Constantly freezes while loading a preset. App not ready for commercial use especially since the hardware is $500. for the THR II 30. The iPad app works only 1-2 out of 10 sessions. It freezes, hangs when syncing, freezes loading a preset, freezes after loading a preset. This is not acceptable. When the unit knob is switched to lead or high gain there is a hissing noise output when a string is plucked. You have to go into the app and use the noise gate to fix it (on my iPhone). This is not acceptable. You should be able to use the amp completely with out the app. Effects knobs do not engage until mostly turned clockwise. Again you must use the app to properly tune the effect. This is not acceptable. On iPhone app: The paging interferes with knob turning. The screen keeps sliding horizontally when attempting to turn the knobs. Selecting a preset: The drop down choices should be closed once a preset is chosen. Can’t get it to stay connected to Bluetooth when loading factory presets and adjustments. Happened since last update.

Since the last firmware software update the app consistently disconnects from the amp via Bluetooth. Yamaha needs to address this. This is the only reason for the one star. Everything worked great before the update. Since the update the app is unusable. Show more

The latest version is really buggy. It will connect once. But then it will lose connection and requires the amp to be shut down and restarted. Please fix

got a THR10II recently and at first this app worked great. now it won’t stay connected through bluetooth. i can’t get this to work on desktop either. it’s a great amp, but without the software to dial in your tone, it becomes very limited. almost regretting my purchase. Show more

Ever since a new update a week or two back, this app has not been working well with the amp at all. There's been moments where I spent 10 minutes fine tuning my settings, only to realize what I'm doing in the app doesn't affect the amp at all anymore. If I restart the app, I end up losing all the progress I spent on fine tuning my sound. It's quite frustrating Show more
