I love being able to stream NWPR on my phone as we live in a mountainous area and have a metal roof, so no reception in the house. The app update is pretty, but harder to see/use. In all, thankful for the app and NWPR. Show more

I liked using the app since my radio reception is often unlistenable. However since I returned from vacation, the livestream no long delivers audio. Not on my phone or iPad via wifi. Is this a known problem? No error message or signs of buffering... Show more

I've used this app since I got my iPhone years ago and the app makes it so easy to listen wherever you are. I recently moved to NM and found the local PR stations lacking, so I continue to listen to this app to keep me up to date. I do wish it would skip telling me that they’ve updated the news stream when I hit Play and just play. The app is pretty basic and could use some improvements, but I find it to be sufficient for my needs and have no real problems with it. Show more

I enjoy having another NW station that provides me the 3 essentials for a good day - real local/national/internationalnews, and diverse programming with lots of classical music available 24/7.

Works as expected. Sound levels are off. Constantly having to turn down for some voices and most music bites then back up again to hear. I have noticed this on the FM station as well. Show more

Love the NWPB app! I love streaming Morning Edition when I’m getting ready for work, and checking in on regional news. Informative and works great!

I like the app. I can listen to the rest of the story when I leave my car. Don’t miss anything. I can listen outside streaming it through a Bluetooth speaker while gardening. It plays my station. It’s radio on the go. Show more

Handy and easy to use

I have to use this app since the NPR app won’t stream my local stations anymore. (Apparently the streams are not secure?? Whatever that means.) This app is ok, it’s pretty, easy to start playing, but it’s really annoying that it doesn’t respond to the control center in iOS 11. So I can’t swipe up and turn it off. I have to turn the volume down until I can unlock my phone, page two, find the app and open. I assume this is s compatibility issue with the new iOS. Show more

Had been using a Seattle NPR App because this one was not working well on my iPhone. This is a good update.

Recent ios7 updates disable the native alarm if NWPR is playing. This is simply unacceptable for an app that most people use in the waking hours of the morning.
