    Sad app
Small buttons, stream stops, seems to return to classical music when you restart, no ability to download and listen later, selection process more complex than it needs to be, more small buttons Show more

No alarm clock feature any more?
I've refrained from updating this app on my old iPhone that I use as an alarm clock because the new version doesn't seem to have that function. Now the old version doesn't seem to want to work either. Please fix this so it works again. Show more

    Practically worthless
There are many flaws to this app (small buttons, poor menus, etc), but worst is its inability to simply stream the station. It's constantly buffering the stream so you regularly hear skips, pauses, and even complete disconnects. I've finally deleted the thing in hopes of another version and have simply bookmarked the NWPR website. The stream works there. Show more

    Old app, better.
Unfortunately, this app is not an improvement. I didn't like the old one. It appears to small on phone and is hard to manipulate. There are several sister radio stations around the country with nice, functional, user friendly interfaces. Show more

Not as good as old version
The old app was much simpler to use. This new one has No clear or large buttons on front of home page. It only has TINY buttons on bottom and play button is so close to stream choosing button I often end up getting to the wrong place. I have to get reading glasses just to turn the thing on or change the station/ stream. The old ap was quicker to change the stream from news to music since it had the obvious stream play buttons right on the front page. I get so frustrated with this new ap trying to get the stream station to play that I give up and just use the quicker easier to read app for KING FM classical music. Would be so nice if nwpr would make this new app easier, quicker to use by just putting large play buttons for all 3 streams (Jazz Kjem/Classical/News) all on the front page of the app in large easy to read buttons that are space apart for larger fingers to easily access quickly. Hope they fix this soon. Show more

    Ok but...
I wanted a clock radio that broadcasts NWPR and the app does that. The app is a shining beacon in the night... that shows the time vertically when docked (iPad - no rotation) and does not dim (the thing lights the room). It also can not be sent to the background and still work like other alarm clock apps do. Any chance of some updates? It would be awesome to be able to sleep (pardon the pun) so the display would be completely dark and have it wake up and play at the alarm. Don't know if that is possible. Show more

    The best public radio station
Have missed NWPR since moving to DC so it was a great Christmas gift to find this app. Works great. Awesome sound quality. Excellent local NW stories and national coverage. Lots of links for making connections. Show more
