I was referred to use this software for converting raw files for client content, unfortunately after buying and installing it, wouldnt open up and when I clicked to open, all I could ever get was, "The app closed unexpectedly" I tried updating my OS, I tried deleting and re-installing, and now I'm unfortunately just hoping I can get a refund.. bummed out I wont get to use it, I've heard great things! I just bought this off the app store and it keeps crashing before it even loads. Not easy to figure out how to report as an issue

I get weekly emails from this company offering compensation for taking down a negative review. As other reviewer's have pointed out, the software was crippled intentionally. Hello Apple? Why do you condone this behavior? This was a buy once for life product. Now the company wants me to download updated software from an unknown location that has not passed through the Apple Computer audit process. The company promises to never do this again if I download their product. Your operating system constantly warmed me about downloading from an external source. Would you? Show more

iSkysoft is a scam company producing product after product that they rename and never update to fix bugs. This product claims to allow downloads of videos. Nope. Not a chance. Bad purchase on my part... Show more

Claims it can make a DVD/Blue-Ray menu feature not available.

What a waste of hardrive space. Takes an hour just to tell you it failed to burn a disc. Id give it -5 stars if I could.

What software company sells functionality to you and then removes it during an upgrade? I used the Youtube to MP3 feature. It’s why I purchased the product. I will never purchase another product from this company again. Show more

This was my go-to video converter and downloader until they removed a bunch of features, like the ability to download YouTube videos or transcode to ProRes, THE EXACT TWO REASONS I BOUGHT IT IN THE FIRST PLACE! Now it’s pretty much useless to me. What a rip off. Show more

Tried out the trial version, seem like a good program; however, the purchase version is missing important features making this apllication worthless. There is nothing about this applcaiton that is delue; can only purchase the real "deluxe verison" from their website. Show more

Used to be a great program with deserved high ratings but the latest upgrade silently removed important functionality like downloading video and audio. To get back the old version you must purchase the program again from their website with a new optional subscription model of payment. But even after paying for the program again the website version keeps asking for access to keychain passwords which seems very sketchy. I suggest that you look elsewhere. Show more

I’ve been using media convert delux for years! Great software… at least used to be! Once updating to Ver.10 it is worthless. It has been striped down to almosts nothing. And the options you do have can be found for free in many places or they are built in to OS X. What really pisses me off is the company, iSkysoft doesn’t respond to any emails or post any reasons for this destruction of a good product nor did it warn you before upgrading to their new version. This company has NO honor. A company with no honor should not only be avoided, but should me shamed publicly for their behavior. (IMHO) I chanlleng you, iSkysoft to redeam your honor and make things right with the people you have taken money from under a cloud of deception! Show more

I’m juding Apple for having this product approved under their umbrella. No available customer support. Options removed after purchase, will go so far as to call this a scam software.

I purchased this two years ago within the app store, and I use the youtube download feature about once a month. A few weeks ago I was in the appstore and decided to update all of my apps without looking to see what those updates happened to be. Much to my dismay right now, I have found that the youtube downloader has been removed, as have several other features from what this company is selling on their website. The name of this needs to be changed to “iMedia Converter Basic”. It is No longer a Delux, in fact, it is a fraud, and if you want the features you have previously paid for, you much now pay them another $58.95 on their website for a completely different download. I used this program for years to download media from YouTube and they took the feature away. That is so annoying; I had automatic updates on and this deleted the old version of the program. The purpose was for me to download media easily. This is a terrible update, will never buy from this developer again!!! Don’t buy because they will change the entire program or even take features off! Show more

I tried to go the the iSkysoft website but the tech support section is not working. What will happen when the 32bit apps don’t work anymore>? The iSkysoft apps are great, but if the never update to 64bit will they still work???? 6/13/18 Show more

I love this program, but why, APPLE, did you sell me a 32 bit program when you are saying you wil not be supporting 32 bit programs anymore????

dvd output is not sharp, no responce from support.

I can always count on this program! I have owned it for years and love it. I would love to see a feature that would remind me what file types work for what you want, i.e. if I want to play this on a DVD player it needs to be in what format, etc. simple stuff but kind of a helper section. ;) Show more
