Lots of Features - Easy to use
I have been using Vector since Ver 2.0. I love all the features. Yet is is still very easy to use.

    Great deal
Wow! Finally an audio workstation I can open quickly and use for small, to medium tasks! Moist of all, the price is a good, fair price. So happy I can load my UAD plugins, as well as my AU plugins. Refreshing change to find a “square deal” in this arena. My most sincere thanks to you guys, Raynaldo Show more

    Solid, waveform audio editing
Works solidly, reliably & stable. Excellent app to use for audio editing.

    Ok... for the basics.
Application has a frequent tendency to crash under minimal stress. Additionally, when it crashes, it deletes the state of the project. Finally, does not have an option to copy/paste in a single channel when working on stereo projects. It only allows for copy/past across both channels. This is practically a necessity from what I’m trying to use it for, so I’m going to need to look for a different program. Show more

I am an amateur and this program does not frustrate me, it’s intuitive enough
Later on I may give it a higher rating if there is a way to turn all of this into a “radio” quality with more knowledge on my part, and ability on thier part. Once I figure that out, 5 stars it is. Then, I woudl consider myself intermeditate user, with that achieved. I use this in 2020 with some ease in getting basic recording done. I have a great microphone and hope to figue out how to sound radio quality. Show more

Great Audio Editor/Converter With One Recording Weakness
I purchased to replace WavePad without knowing if Vector 3 had input volume control. After purchasing I sent a message noting the lack of device input volume control, and the developer offered to refund, but I was very impressed with the Vector 3 interface and functionality. I am using Logic for device input control and use Vector nearly every day for post production. Add input volume control and this is a 5 star review, thanks! Show more

    Almost great….
This is a recorder/editor that is almost great. It works very well for what it does, but right now I’m recording (old LP’s) with Quicktime then using this app to edit the file afterward. V3 will record, but it does not have a software pass through for the sound, so one cannot “hear” the dub as it’s happening. For digitizing LP’s that is a rather fatal flaw as they need to be monitored in case there is imbedded “micro dust” in a groove that may cause a skip. After recording the vinyl with Quicktime (a 48K, 32 bit file…better than CD sound) then I open the resulting file with V3 and chop it up into individual tracks. It works by selecting the track, copying it, pasting it into a new V3 session, then saving it as an individual track. For those who have used Audacity, an “Export Selection” option on the V3 menu would take out a few steps. I don’t use Audacity any more because I have my Mac Mini running into a 4K Sony Bravia TV (as monitor) from HDMI and the Audacity output to HDMI (during playback of a recorded file) is awful. It sounds like digital noise more than analogue sound. The interface of V3 is better designed, simpler, less complicated than Audacity, so I will continue to use V3 as my preferred editor. But I fervently hope they will bring out an update that includes some of these things that would make it more user-friendly for the consumer/user. PS: I have also loaded some 3rd party AU Effect software which installed perfectly, shows up in the menu normally, but errors out and can’t be used. V3 does not have a “click removal” effect (as Audacity does), but it is supposed to accept 3rd party AU files….which in the case of the Acon Restoration Suite, it does not. BUT, as I say, I will continue to use V3 with hope for further upgrades. ======== Update: one can now export a “selection” which is a good thing. But those “effects” still need to include “click removal” for dubbing ol LP’s. Also, leaving the waveform display running while recording uses up so much CPU that the recordings start skipping large chunks…totally unacceptable. Beautiful “almost great” software needs further refinement. Also, quality control: when recording without waveform the sign says “RECORDIG (sic) in PROGRESS”. recorDIG….come on…that’s just careless. Attention to detail is needed…. ========= Update 2: I was wrong. This program does not support exporting a single song from the dubbing of an entire LP. One cannot “chop it up” into tracks. That’s a big deficit if you want to use this app to dub LP’s into iTunes files. I like to do that because I can dub them to higher resolution than one would get on CD. I use 48KHz - 24 bit as my standard and get great results…except for this one thing (re: tracks). Show more

    Works great for voiceovers
I have used it to records voiceovers for some videos and am pleased with it. While it may not have all of the fancy features of Adobe's product, this price makes it a good tradeoff. I like the way the interface looks and I have not had any crashes or anything like that. I recommend. Show more

    Really good for Simple stuff
This is not Pro Tools, but for simple audio work it does the job and at a fractoin of the price.

    Awsome!
Vector 3 works as avertised. The app is strieght forward and easy to use. I have been using this app for about a year for recording and editing music. Definitely like the freedom of recording, like how it was during the cassette tape era were one could record music off the radio. Thanks! Show more

    Vector is easy to use
I really like Vector and it's been gettig better and better. If you want to record a song or a musical idea anything really it is much easier to use than Garageband to get going and and there are lots of effects. I also use it for songs I'm going to use in my shows. Show more

Get this software before the creators realize how great it is!
I love this piece of software. Vector 3 is 100% useable, easy to learn, reliable, and the results are amazing for the price. I use Vector 3 more than I use other mastering software costing literally hundreds of dollars more. For what it does, it does it well. My advice: Buy it NOW, before the creators of this gem realize just how good it is! Show more

    Love!!!
This has been the greatest app so far!!! But the space button for playing the music does not work anymore! Please fix!!

    Very Versatile, Very Useful!
I have used everything from Audacity (which apparently doesn't work after the latest OS update) to Garage Band. When it comes to straight-ahead, useer-friendly audio recording/editing, Vector has become my go-to app. The interface is great, and the built-in effects are very impressive; perhaps not up to expensive Pro Tools level, but very good, nevertheless. For the price, it's hard to beat this one! Show more

    Love this product!
Not only does Vector3 work well, the Customer Support staff is the best! I had a couple of questions and all were answered in a way that made persect sense and with exception! Show more

    Intuitive
I use the application to edit songs so that I can create new versions that consist only of the parts I like. So I take a song with lyrics and an extended instrumental, and eliminate the lyrics so I just have the music. Anyway, the application makes it so easy to listen to the songs, see the breaks, the cut, paste and create new versions. Show more
