I just purchased this app after reading so many positive reviews. I could not get it to play back a single recording. I started with a 20 second recording. At playback there was only silence. I checked the speaker volume. It was not muted. I tried shorter, test recordings. Nothing. When I opened the file into iTunes, it said my 5 second recording was one hour long. And no sound. I would like a refund. This app is trash. Show more

Way to easy... this is a quick and effective way to record and then store ideas, speaches, content for books and then transfer to a program that converts to text. I go to software for both my Blog and Podcast development. Show more

This app is very easy to use and is worth the price. Highly recommended for simple recording tasks.

Easy Audio Recorder as advertised will record from your built-in microphone. Voice recordings are fine whether it is you speaking or recorded from your computer. Don't plan however to record music tracks from your computer using this app. In the paid version the sound quality is adequate, but there is no range beyond the midrange. Highs are tinny and brassy, and low tone and bass are lfat and weak. It is fine for voice, but not the app you want to record music. Show more

I have tried to email recordings from my MacPro Laptop following the ALL of App instructions . It did not matter which method I used, it will always take me to the Apple Store "Easy Audio Recording" purchase site. When I used link given for accessing "Easy Auto Recording" support, ALL that was no support provided AT ALL! Show more

It's a pretty straightforward app, and overall, it works well and does the job. But I wish it would offer minor improvements like being able to change the location where the saved recorded files are stored. This would make life a little easier. Show more

The light (free version) records sound find but at low fidelity. So I paid for the "full version" and it does not pick up the microphone settings and therefore does NOT record ANY audio. Show more

I like the simplicity of this recording app, but I do have a few request. I use it for recording and playing backtracks to music. It would sure be nice to be able to ‘loop’ a recording. Also when I want to stop a recording from playing momentarily, I want to hit the space bar to stop and hit it again to restart. I don’t want to grabe a mouse and navigate a cursor to a stop icon or play icon. Other than those things this app is near perfect for my needs. Show more

I can use system preferences to choose an external input device and Easy udio Recorder shows it in its options menu but when you start recording the file does not pick up any sound and of course there is nothing to playback Show more

This app does everything that I want it to do, and it does it with very simple elegance. I LOVE this app because it makes my life easy and protects my time and efficiency. You click a button to start recording. You click the same button to pause. You click another button to end the recording and save it to a file. It lists the file right there for you for easy access! It lets you play it again, takes you to its stored location, or move it to trash. Each action is doable within one to two seconds. Elegant design! High intuitive usability. Thank you! Show more

Purchased a microphone with software that needed to be down loaded. After wasting over 4 hours trying to download the software I gave up. Then I went to the app store, purchased Easy Audio Recorder V1.6 and within minutes I was recording with my new microphone. One click and you can record and one click and you stop the recording. It’s so easy to use that a cave man can use it. Buy it.By the way I am using a Mac Pro. Show more
