    Was a big fan
    Used to be a big fan of HEOS and Denon - I have purchased 5 A/v receivers and a number of HEOS speakers. Everything had been working flawlessly. Since around the last update started getting drops in music across all devices. These drops sometimes last as long as a minute or more and sometimes the group completely ungrouos and sometimes I have to start the music service over again I can’t be the only one with this problem. I have 200 MB internet service and have absolutely no problem streaming any other service. Show more

    OK When It Works
    It’s OK when it works. Plenty of annoying pitches, like how I lit used black text on a dark screen like when I am writing this. I literally can’t see what I am trying here. So, yea it usually works, but has some issues they need to fix, but probably won’t. Show more

    Bluetooth doesn’t work
    Have 2 Denon AVRs S750H and S850H for more than 1 year… very challenging to get it connected, have to reset/restart multiple times… switching volumes from channels never worked. Good luck if you can adjust from just one. Not impressed at all. Cant comment on other brands but this Denon/Heos/Alexa is very dissapointing… Show more

    Looks good, still buggy
    Wont update software if you aren’t logged into a HEOS account, won’t stream music from my tidal account, if your phone is set to dark display and your HEOS app is set to light you can’t read the text you are typing in the search bars. Still buggy, needs work, but does play with amazing sound quality. Show more

    Volume buttons no longer work
    The side volume buttons on my iPhone no longer work with this app after updating to IOS 16.2. They did work prior to the update. I’m using the most up to date app and removed it and reinstalled but it didn’t correct the issue. I realize that I can use the volume slider in the app. Show more

    No Lock Screen Widget
    Works great for surround sound, but there is no Lock Screen widget…would be 5 stars if the app had that.

    Horrible
    Ruined my Denon love. Difficult at times to play simple Bluetooth from phone. I won't buy Denon anymore because of it. Going back to Yamaha for my theatre room Show more

    Still buggy
    Randomly stops and then continues. Cuts out on one of my HEOS speakers. It’s still not ready for prime time and makes me question whether I’ll buy the Denon receiver I’m looking at. Show more

    Trash. Stops working forever after 3 years
    Don't buy Denon. If you just bought it, send it back. Heos and Google assistant connection worked for a year, then slowly things stopped working. Now nothing works. They're not maintaining the app for"older" devices. Three years and it's junk now. Total trash. Show more

    no shuffle
    can’t shuffle all my songs. if you press “play all” it only adds the first 300 songs which doesn’t even make it past the songs staring with A for me also the reciever likes to turn itself off while music is playing thru the app which is really cool Show more

    Developers Need to Update
    This app has so many problems. It never just opens and works. Have to restart and reconnect every time I try and use it. I never write reviews but this is a horrible app. It’s always searching to find device. Show more

    Superb
    HEOS is amazing. Extremely easy connectivity, extreme quality sound, great app, and stellar customer service. I would not consider another brand.

    Amazing sound, app can be buggy
    I love my HEOS. Wirelses/wifi streaming music without the hassle and tangle of cables with the old home stereo system. And the Denon sound quality is top notch. How are the app can be a bit buggy at times - gets hung up on loading, won’t find devices on the network, unpairs devices that I had grouped together, etc. Doesn’t happen often and I supposed I’ve gotten used to being spoiled when it works like it should, but very frustrating when it’s buggy.     Actually really good
    I was surprised how well put together this app was. When my surroundsound company said I’d have to use an app I was scared. But this is actually really cool and it’s not good at all. Show more

    Horrible APP
    Won’t play common music streaming services like Spotify or IHeart. Just breaks up and can’t make it through a song. Horrible -should have never been released.

    Unreliable
    The app constantly dies. If you are on the app, and switch to another the next time you use the HEOS app it will close out and you have to click on it and let it load again. Show more
