Error messages like “Can’t stream music to device. Please try again later.” What am I supposed to do with that? Set up was a PITA. I had to duplicate my HEOS account on the web and the app. Otherwise I got user not found. Just a really miserable user experience, but of course, for the otherwise excellent Denon Home 350, I’m stuck. Show more

I spent an hour online with Denon to get this Heos app working. We finally get it set up. The next day I go to use it and it is all disconnected again. This has been the pattern since I bought the AVR. This is inexcusable considering how seamlessly almost everything else works. I will never buy anything that relies on Heos again. Period. Show more

Would be great if I didn’t have to unplug and replug my AVR most of the time to get it to AirPlay.

I wouldn’t have spent $600+ on Denon speakers if I knew how bad this app is. The speakers are fine but the app is horrid. If they just spent a bit of time making this app more usable and less glitchy this system would be so much better. When the whole purpose of buying multiple speakers is that they connect well, you’d think the app to control that would be better, but… sadly no. Show more

The app works fine most of the time. But has constantly stopped working every single time there has been an apple software update. It’s extremely frustrating and it typically takes five business days or longer for.HEOS to provide an update that allows you to continue to enjoy the system. Show more

It’s impossible (maybe it’s possible but very difficult) to play an album How? Why? Who thought it was good enough to ship this way? Just work like every other music app you unbelievable worthless piece of junk!!! Show more

The sound is great but the Ap is just one glitch after another

Try to game the review system, expect an unhelpful one star review. P.S. Apparently, multinational corporations aren't subject to the same rules as independent developers and don't have abide by their developer agreements. Cannot play my 3000+ iTunes playlist. Cannot point in iTunes playlist to start playback of the remainder of the list. Always have to start at the first song in the playlist. Show more

I must say, I have the ultimate home entertainment DJ. My system stays on 24 hours/7 days a week to create the perfect mood environment. HEOS delivers what I want and when I want it every time. Show more

Yesterday Sirius Xm would not work. I think they had some kind of server issues. This is important to me because the quality of the streams is some of the best I have ever heard. Superb through my PME 900 driving 2 sets of Klipsch speakers and the r120 sub. Today it’s back up and running. I feel like this proves that someone is still working on things from Denon. This app is a tad buggy, but when it works it brings musical joy to my ears. Show more

I submitted to updating the app and functionally it works, sometime Heos says there’s no user registered when there clearly is, force quit the app and it starts working again. The most annoying thing I’ve noticed is audio drop outs. I am steaming internet radio stations through TuneIn mostly. Before the update, no drop outs, after, drop outs. This happens no matter what station I’ve selected on TuneIn. Very annoying. Wish I could go back to the previous version. Show more

Great Denon app. Easy to install on my iPhone. Love that it gives me control for my receiver remotely. I use all the time.

If the developers sees this, please add YouTube Music as an option so I don't have to pay for a second music app to stream music to my Denon receiver.

This app works great for streaming sources like Amazon Music, Pandora, and Spotify, but isn’t as good for sources connected through a HEOS enabled receiver. And where is support for Apple Music? The proposed solution is using Airplay, but there are timing/synchronization issues for multi-room environments. If HEOS wants to be a true Sonos competitor, they need to support Apple Music.
