    audiophile quality sometimes
    Great quality playback when hardwired USB. Doesn't really have a lot of music, which is weird for a music streaming app. Missing the ability to play a "radio station" based on a song or genre, and no Chromecast support for those odd streaming sessions (think house party). Basically a place you can stash digital albums. A solid 1.5/5, but I rounded up to 2 stars. Oh, and it recognizes my SMSL, Peachtree, and Manley DACs on the app, which is neat. Show more

    muy buena calidad de audio, admiro eso?? aunque hay algunos bugs con algunas portadas y al momento de cambiar de canción muy rápido a veces suena la anterior, sin embargo es una muy buena app en lo cabe de la palabra, si se arreglaran esos bugs estaría muchisimo mejor, felicidades a los que manejan la app????     Great sound quality but terrible algorithm
    I switched to Qobuz from Spotify for almost a year until I just couldn't take it anymore. Qobuz offers great sound quality, and they have artists that aren't on Spotify, but their discovery algorithm is so awful that I mostly just listened to the same stuff all the time. I think their genres are just too broad. For example, I'll be listening to death metal and then Qobuz starts playing artists like... Limp Bizkit? I stopped checking my Weekly Q entirely because it would be full of artists I loathe that aren't connected to anything I listen to in any conceivable way. It's not just that, though - this app has some seriously frustrating UI. Everything takes too many taps to access, and some things aren't accessible at all depending on the path you took to get to a given page. It's not the worst app - I mean, I did use it for most of a year - but there are better options. Show more

    Qobuz is great but the app is terrible
    Music constantly stops all the time if you switch apps, like to Maps. Music sometimes just won’t stream or download, even on 5G with the app open. I love Qobuz through Roon but this app is trash. Show more

    Quality is audibly better than other sites
    Even with my budget setup of 6XX’s + JDS Labs EL stack the step up in audio quality from other streaming sites is remarkable. Library is expansive. UI is user friendly. Recommended artist page is diverse without leaving the vibe of the music I’m currently listening to. All in all a very good music streaming service. Show more

    Awesome
    Qobuz is awesome. The way they handle high resolution is brilliant. Four stars because, just like Spotify and Tidal, their classical search engine is terrible. So often they have a title on their server but one has to sometimes search Individually for the composer, work name, artist, ensemble or conductor in hopes that it will pop up. Why a “hit” doesn’t show up any way you search for it is beyond me. Show more

    No Customer Service
    For a few years I enjoyed the streaming quality. It’s still excellent. However, I made a purchase of some Qobuz music over $550 worth. I won’t download to my or my wife’s computer. Their downloading app just doesn’t work for us. I’ve sent two emails to Qobuz - no response except the initial notification that they received my email. Very disappointed. I’ve requested my money back. I can’t recommend Qobuz. Show more

    Great music, terrible app
    The title of this review says it all. They have a terrific selection and the quality options are great, but the iPhone app SUXXXXXXXX! It freezes up constantly. It takes forever to make selections or download items. Really bad. Show more

    Great music, less buggy since updates
    Edit: I wrote the below review and then the buffering-type issue seems to have stopped, I’m guessing they’ve updated it. So I’ve upgraded this review from 3 to 5 stars. Overall I am very pleased and recommend this app to music lovers. My tastes are extreme wide and I the music selection is everything I need. I would like the ability to create my own stations but apparently that’s not the philosophy of this app. The music quality is noticeably better than Apple Music Lossless and the music discovery and curation is excellent for knowledgeable music lovers who want to expand their horizons (far better than Apple Music). For example I get introduced to jazz and classical that don’t bore me to death with their self importance, and don’t get spoon fed faddish indie junk. But it routinely decides to not play songs, and often times will never play them again even if I restart my phone, as if the error is cached in memory. There’s no apparent reason for it, my phone, connection and storage are fine. This really isn’t acceptable considering these often are my favorite songs, clicked off quickly while sitting at a red light or when I need a boost at work. I don’t need the frustration and don’t think I’ll keep this once the trial expires unless someone can help me fix the issue. Show more

    Music quality is good but terrible service
    The quality of music is definitely better than the likes of Spotify or Apple Music but the service itself leaves a lot to be desired. There are constant disruptions in service on the mobile app ranging from random songs skipping, 2-3 second delays between choosing (might not seem like much but it adds up when it’s a delay on every single press), connection issues, etc. Unfortunately these are not personal signal/wifi issues either as everything else works fine on my phone. Further evidence that this is on Qobuz’s end is the fact that their PC player also runs into the same issues despite being connected to ethernet and everything else connecting just fine. I’m not sure where they are hosting their servers, but please get more stable ones or just more of them in general. Show more

    Moved on from Tidal
    Updated 9.29.22: After driving the app for hundreds of hours at home, I’ve found that, although I have the hi-res sub, many tracks default to CD quality when the hi-res track is available. It’s quite irritating……..I’ve tried Qobuz before but this time was different. The quality seems better or is it that I’ve upgraded my gear? Whatever, I dropped Tidal after 3 years following 30 days of head-to-head listening via multiple sources. The overall value was too much to pass up…but how about making the player available, minimized, on-screen when I do a new search from the player screen? With the name of the current playlist. It is frustrating when I’m listening from a particular playlist, decide to check out the artist and have to go back-back to return to the playlist. Both Spotify and Tidal provide this functionality.     Ok app, lousy customer service
    The app is fine. It’s a bit glitchy, and it’s annoying that it still has no equivalent to features like Spotify Connect, but I was getting by. However, the service is infuriating to use. They keep canceling my subscription because their billing system is screwed up. I can’t do anything about it until the cancelation happens and my service stops working, then I can just re-enter the same credit info (no problem, since the problem is with Qobuz). They only give me two days’ grace period when this happens, and they do not respond to their customer service emails for a week or more, so there is no way to get them to fix it without disruption. And when they finally do respond, they ask for a ridiculous amount of my information (a bank statement??) and do nothing to address the problem. Show more

    Wonderful music service
    Excellent sound and fine selection. I especially like the classical music selection, though occasionally I can’t find something. Additionally, I really appreciate when they offer the liner notes. As far as I know,, they are the only service that does this and I hope they will do it for more recordings. Show more

    Quintessential
    If you are an audiophile Qobuz should be one of you go to apps. Fits nicely with Roon If you don’t even know what an audiophile is your in the right place, in good hands. If you just love music, all kinds of music than you need Qobuz, you want Qobuz ! Did you give all you cherished albums away? CD’s are in boxes and you sold or gave away your CD player? Don’t worry Qobuz has your back. Listen to all your favorite songs, reminisce your past music journey with ease. Now that your back in the groove, Qobuz helps you discover new current music that fits your style and tastes. Try it.     Jazz heaven
    I prefer Qobuz to Spotify for reasons besides the quality of the sound which of course was the reason I became interested. The algorithm for pointing me to new talent and current artists is far superior to Spotify. The information available for album credits, biography etc are outstanding. The interface is pleasing to the eye, and it is easy to find stuff. A plus all around. Show more

    Paid for a year. Kicked off for nonpayment with months to go
    We were kicked off for lack of payment even though our account shows that we are paid through into next year. We had the same problem when we first signed up. We were paid up for a family plan, the account showed the membership, yet the system kept me shut out for two weeks. It two weeks and several direct communications to resolve the problem. No explanation was ever given. It’s a real shame that the system is so buggy, otherwise it’s a lovely app. Show more

    Sound quality is great, interface is always buggy
    After over a year of using Qobuz, compared to other streaming platforms: Sound quality 10/10 Music library 6/10 Recommended song algorithm 6/10 Both mobile and desktop apps 2/10 Using the apps are a constant pain. Interface isn’t as intuitive as other streaming platforms, but the worst is just how buggy it is. On the mobile app, random songs on my saved list won’t play (which song is bugged seems to change randomly). For the desktop app, it’ll hang and need a force restart of the app a few times every day.
