I’ve seen all the problems people are noting with this app. For my purposes, it seems fully functional. For example, it immediately recognized both of the music servers on my pc and I was able to stream all compatible file formats, up to my 24/192 high res files without significant lag or skipping over my WiFi lan. I haven’t tried it with Tidal, since I switched to another 16/44 service a couple years ago due to content concerns. The app could certainly use some refinement and lags far behind my multi-room Sonos system in terms of features and intuitiveness, but it does the job. I do, however, miss gapless playback. In summary, it allows this system to do what it does best.....sound amazing! Show more

Not much I can say that hasn’t already been said. I’d rate it zero stars if I could. The speakers are fantastic, but the app obviously received only 1% of the total development budget. The same goes for the KEF Control app. Show more

It is extremely frustrating that after more than a year of having purchased these speakers , KEF has not found a way to actually correct many of the bugs this app has, specially the ability of streaming Tidal songs without constantly skipping tracks. Tidal on here is a joke. Spinning wheel, nothing loads. Spotify connect works and is better because you can just use the Spotify app and don’t have to use this sorry excuse for an app. Great, bought great speakers and now have to listen to lossy music - hard to tell who’s fault this is : Tidals or KEF’s. Streaming is just not reliable,,, update after update... just frustrating

Same connectivity issues expressed by others. App often loses connection or can’t find speakers. Makes the WiFi mode of playing the speakers almost unusable. Please KEF fix this it could be so cool! Show more

The app looks cool but loose the speakers all the time on my WiFi! Also I still have not figured out how to add songs when creating a playlist with the app! I am glad they have bluetooth, otherwise I would nog be able to lay my music. KEF needs to add AirPlay they have it on their other speakers why not this one? Now for the good part the speakers are phenomenal, better than the passive version! Show more

The developer is very responsive in fixing issues. Thank you for the continued support of this very important companion app.

App crashes when using Tidal and back space in the search bar. Also the Tidal integration is horribly laggy during play and cannot fast forward or use next track features. Painful. KEF please address these issues. Show more

I have $2200 of speakers and a $2k sub that can't play music thanks to this app. Streaming from tidal drops constantly. Even playing from my library won't work: the app just scrolls through songs on an album at warp speed without playing them. So now I have $4200 plus tax of audio equipment sitting in my very quiet living room. Thanks kef. Show more
