Such a good app. It’s perfect to be able to scan barcodes and upload your vinyl collection to Discogs.

Not a fan of the Discogs UI, I was optimistic about VinylBox, finding it to be superior. That said, this app is pretty much useless as it crashes constantly and consistently. Show more

The folder sorting is super buggy. If you touch one of your folders, it filters your collection the first time. But then if you try to touch another folder, it doesn’t do anything. Your have to basically refresh the entire catalogue or the app to re-sort them. Show more

its perfect for organizing your collection and I love the feature that gives you an estimate of your total collection value. one suggestion, however, is that we could add a vinyl to multiple folders. for instance, i want my colored folklore vinyl to be in both “taylor swift” and also “colored” if that makes sense. or do like tags where you can select which certain things apply to a vinyl like colored or limited edition and then let us filter our collection by these “tags” if that makes sense. other than that, i love it! One of many examples how terrible this thing is: Searching your collection for “Greetings” won’t find the album “Greetings from Asbury Park.” You have to type the WHOLE NAME to find it. Amateurs. Show more

Could have been useful. But crashes a lot. API request limit is set far too low. Not worth paying for.

I’ve tried others and this app does exactly what it’s supposed to do, focus on keeping an ever expanding record collection cataloged. It has nice integration with Discogs.

I’ve got 30+ years back of house/techno/electro/jungle wax and I’m finally getting around to getting my collection on Discogs to organize and rate it’s condition. The UPC scan feature doesn’t work as well as it should, half the time I can get it to read a barcode it has no info on it and I have to eneternit manually. Still a great app though! Clean and consistent interface! Love it and love that it’s sort of reignited my passion for vinyl. I’m starting to pick up released that have been seeing on my want list on Discogs for awhile. If it’s still there, I can’t find it and that’s really the only reason I used this app over the Discogs app other than it displayed the actual collection value where Discogs rounded it. Support only via Twitter and I don’t do Twitter. I’d rather have the old version, sorry. UPDATE: 9/2020 Developer contacted me and explained there was an oversight and the feature was put back in. Adding two or more albums requires purchasing a $3 iAP called “Pro”. I haven’t even determined how I want to use this app, and if it has any value to me, how could I already commit to paying money? To be clear, I’m not against paying money for this, you’ve just placed the gate in front of functionality that’s way to fundamental. Show more

Worked great on the 7+, but got a new SE and it immediately crashes as soon as I hit any button in-app. Even paid for the upgrade too, can’t sign in or do anything. Waste of money :( Show more

Like the idea, but the app is buggy. 17.2.2020 - Sleeve condition and Notes have disappeared from collection items. I can’t add info to any new items and can’t edit existing records either! Show more
