I have a Yamaha Disklavier that uses 3.5” Floppies. This app is a game changer. I can continue to use the floppies but with this I can stream songs directly to the piano via the MIDI In and MIDI Out. See the ‘help’ in the app for where to buy the MIDI adapter. And, then how to set it up. For a disklavier use the “Digital” setting as opposed to the “Analog”. The seller is also responsive as well. Looking forward to using PIANOSTREAM on my Mark IV. We have an extensive music library and have been hesitant to upgrade our piano out of fear of losing the library. This seems to be a great bridge as Yamaha continues to convert the library. I know we will still be missing quite a bit, but I’m impressed with this app so far, and am excited that they are continuing to add content. Thank you! Show more

Simple and wonderful way to get my E3 Disklavier playing beautiful music again! Used a Midi cable (Yamaha MD-BT01) and immediately had access to the “Free Demo” I loved the song list so much I got the subscription and have enjoyed access to so many wonderful playlists. App is easy to use and friendly for non technical folk who just want an easy way to stream songs on their piano!! Love the art for the songs too. Very nice! Show more

Richie’s Pianostream app has brought our 23 year old Yamaha Disklavier DKC500RXG piano into the 21st century! His many YouTube tutorials enabled a novice like me to quickly and easily configure the app. It produces amazing piano music again after our older Disklavier floppy disk drive failed. I spoke with a piano store that put me in touch with the piano stream guy sorry can't remember your name but he told me to order a 50 dollar xvive bt adapter from Bazos so I did ... got it the next day plugged it in paired it played the demo track then subscribed .... I am an engineer and that was simple my 85 year old dad could have done it ..... it's sounds good on my 1988 Yamaha diskaviar ... Come on folks it's 100 bucks I am sure they have some serious cash invested in this needs a search feature but that's about it Show more

I have a Mark III disklavier and was about to spend $1500 on a DKC 850 to get Disklavier radio. Then I found out the 850 was discontinued (lucky for me). This app works flawlessly with over 1000 songs in multiple genres! I could not be happier! Show more

It’s a great app and Richie was very responsive and helpful with the set up. He actually took the time to walk me through the whole process! It’s much better than Piano Disc you have no need to download the albums or songs. And it works via Bluetooth rather than WiFi.
