This app brings out the beautiful sound from my Yamaha Disklavier M4. I used to rely on Yamaha’s Pianosoft music, purchasing songs and albums which was time consuming and needlessly expensive. With Pianostream I can stream music from different stations and genres. I can also save and stream my own midi files. It is an excellent way to connect wirelessly to my piano. With my Pianostream BT/midi connection, I use other programs for online piano lessons. Pianostream continues to improve its BT connectivity and functionality while also providing excellent support through the Pianostream FB site. I enjoy my grand piano more than ever. Show more

This is a wonderful app for anyone that owns a Disklavier piano and wishes to expand their playlist. The developer, Richie, provides excellent tutorials on the required hardware and setup and then opens your world to any almost endless array of music. Highly recommended! Show more

Finally found an app that makes sense to an electronic novice. Plug in the MIDI hardware (we’re using the Yamaha MD-BT01), open the app, connect with Bluetooth, and play. Thanks for making it easy. Has opened a whole new world for us on our Disklavier. Please keep adding songs....we can’t get enough! Show more

The PianoStream App has brought piano music back into our life!! The piano brings us joy and we have a beautiful Schimmel Baby Grand but alas we don’t play. We had a PianoDisc IQ System installed years ago but rarely used it because the music was too expensive and the free music library poorly organized. The PianoStream catalogue is filled with high quality music from many genres and is growing all the time. You can play the different stations or create favorites and play your own. Last, I love the Facebook community which feels like family. Richies Hayes takes care of his subscribers, listens to suggestions and is always trying to make improvements! This app is absolutely the best way to get affordable, high quality music for your player piano. Yamaha’s equivalent functionality costs much more and isn’t compatible with many pianos. This app requires an inexpensive Bluetooth dongle and a reasonable subscription. The creator is great about addressing issues with the app and is continually developing it. The interface is not flashy but does the job. I look forward to future updates and improvements. Show more

This and Richie’s Pianodisc Remote app are the absolute best Piano player apps on the market!!!!! No questions asked. Don’t waste your time or money on any others.

I gave this app a try with my PianoDisc piano and I love it! It really is a bargain. There is a large variety of music and it works flawlessly! I will be using my PianoDisc player much more now that I have PIANOSTREAM. Show more
