Everything from the pad layouts, scales, new graphics to the sounds work together really well. Also, the new sounds are really, really good (great strings and choir samples). IMHO that this app just quadrupled in value with this free update." - Music-311 "Thanks for such an awesome app, I love that it lets you intuitively visualize and experiment with a "Tonnetz" layout, and better understand Neo-Riemannian theory - as such, Navichord is the perfect gateway from abstract, heady harmony concepts to immediate and practical music being played- a priceless possibility! And it looks beautiful and the tones are great, to boot" - RepentHarlequin73 "I'm really exited about this app, it's very useful and creative. the scales that you can choose are abundant. The easy settings & alternative scales, help you create song and melodic idea's in an instance, without bothering your workflow." - Subliminal Noize "This is really a nice, simple, clean app. I love the way you laid out the UI and I especially like that single notes can be tapped first and then dragged seamlessly between notes to produce the chord, then back to another single note if desired. For what it's worth, here are five stars... ***** This app will replace several other more expensive "chord progression lab" apps that I own because I think it's UI design is excellent and perfect for my needs." - ZenLizard "Find using the harmonic grid more intuitive than a piano keyboard, being able to press in the middle of three circles to get major and minor chords is genius. Experimenting with chord patterns and having the chord name at the top and the root and other keys displayed on the keyboard, is helping me get my head around more complex chords." - mister-rz "It can definitely be a source of inspiration." - Luca

    Looks good so far
I do like the interface. Maybe Coltrane changes would be difficult

    Great app
But is there a way to change the virtual instruments from strings to maybe guitar or a different piano. Etc

    Brilliant!!
There are a lot of iOS apps for songwriting, but this one is truly unique - and highly useful! Ingenious use of graphics to both inform and control the process, which fosters creativity and inspiration. And if you’re a bit weak on proper music theory, using this app will really help you learn by doing. Show more

    Acually is a chord finder
I’ve tried 10 other chord charting apps but they are all limited to only one key or only major and minor. This app lets you experiment with all chords. Sorry not a music major so I can’t explain really well but this app has more of a range of notes to experiment with and save chords you make as presets. Show more

    Does not compute¿
Select a chord and watch as the chord becomes the new tonic. Usually, a few more rules are needed to setup a tonal area. Among a few choice subdominant minor chords decide on one. Before the phrase is finished there are as many new tonic as there are chord changes. As clever as the system is, a setup to show relationships of the old key to the new or the new tonic to the old. When the Roman numerals show up the expectation for a discernible pattern to be drawn. Hearing the changes while in a search for harmony that fits, may train the ear to listen for the progression better. I just need more to make me believe I have a clue of what's going on. One of the examples had upper structures which was cool but I don't know how that was accomplished. Show more
