This app is junk. Tried everything I could think of to download file from BIAB. Tried Google Drive, Mac, PC - no luck. PG Music should be embarrassed to be associated with this app. If they paid a developer they should be doubly embarrassed. I don’t think they even support it. Don’t waist your time and effort. Dated app that doesn’t work.

I can’t get this thing to network with BIAB (Current) on my MacBook. Why is this thing even in the App Store?

I can’t get past the IP address. I’m glad I didn’t pay for this steaming pile. It’s even worse when you contact support.

After spending about an hour looking a the tutorial to connect, it would not work. Would have been a great ideal but so poorly documented that I never could get it working. So the wrap up. Band in the box program on PC , brilliant. The app, no go. Just a headache for over an hour. Booooo. Show more

This app hasn’t been updated for years, despite known bugs. A significant bug is that the app display is out-of-sync when it plays songs that have three beats to a measure (e.g. 3/4 or 9/8 time signature. Another bug is that the app freezes if you happen to touch where the current song title appears. And there are other bugs. Nevertheless, the app mostly works and can be a fun practice companion. Long. Time biab user (30+ years)...windows user up until 2020...made the move to Mac...pgmusic seems uninterested in biab app for Mac...if a business does not carry a product I use, then obviously I don’t shop there anymore. Show more

Do not download.

How many hoops does one have to jump through to get their files from their laptop to open on the iPad? Forget this, I’ll just use the IReal to practice when I’m not at home. Or... you guys can make an app that doesn’t look, feel, or work like it was made in 1989. I’d like a practice app that doesn’t take away from my practice schedule. Show more

They did not even include 1 single song to demo the app. Shame.

I bought the version for my laptop and wanted to use the app to work when I’m away from the computer. Sometimes ideas don’t always come when I’m in front of a computer. Would not work except using the server on my laptop. Guess I’ll have to find one that will. Show more

Absolutely unusable. No instructions, no explanations of functions, could not download BIAB songs from my computer and, when I typed a little song into it and tried to play it, nothing. PGMusic should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for foisting this product on the market. Show more

Used to be that BIAB was easy to use. Now it is not, and this app is a totally worthless addition.

STILL waiting for them to fix this app as it would be handy to have the files I made on my computer on my iPad and phone, but they are too busy inventing new bells and whistles instead of assuring their present offerings work properly. It would be easy enough for the developers to fix the bugs and give a RECENT update or take the App in the App store down altogether. PG Music standards are usually good but they sure missed the mark here! Show more

Can you help us add RealTracks & fewer updates from the application?

This is totally dumb, a) if you dont already own Band in a Box, this is useless. B) if you already own Band ina Box, why mess with a very limited iPad version that requires you to connect, download, and virtually do everything in the version in your server, no this is not a stand alone or even slimmed down version of BIAB. This is basically nothing, which requires you to spend a ton of time figuring OUT it is nothing, dont mention trying to find your server Ip address at the bginning. Couldn’t run a song downloaded from my MacPro without being on WIFI and remembering the IP address of my Mac. What the hell good is that when you’re away from home? Love my laptop version. Hate this app. I can understand they don’t want to give full functionality to an app, but not being able to just play something you’ve already created and downloaded to iPad is just ridiculous. Great app. I do a lot of composing on my laptop and playback on my iPad when away from laptop.

I can’t get this app to actually make any sound when I play a song. Yes, I am sure the volume on my phone is up, and I turned up the volume in the app, too. It runs through the song highlighting each measure as it “plays” but doesn’t play anything. Show more

So far have not been able to make it work at all !! So PG get your act together and make the app mobile !!
