This is a great little app, I don't use it a lot but when I do it works really well. Easy to use quick and simple. I haven't compared it to other apps but this works really well for no more than what I need. Show more

Okay, I know my subject seems harsh on myself. I'm an actor and I don't really do sound design or recording or anything like that, but occasionally when I create my own work, I need an app that can help my vision come to life. Now I will preface, I do not use all of the features on this, and I use it at the bare minimum to edit sound files. I use it to cut and distort and that's about it. I like the idea that I can use it for recording eventually- whenever I do need to use that feature and it seems very simple to do so. I will say there are times in which I've had this application open and another one open and for some reason I cannot use the playback function anymore- and I don't think that's me being dumb, I think it's just not possible to use with another app running as when I shut down the other app, this one works again. Again! This app does the thing I need it to do and it was simple for me, a dumb actor, to figure out! Show more

I use it for recording audio and then later trimming it. Nice clear sound.

It’s OK but it is not great. It is not as easy to use as others I have tried. It does not do as much as other programs do for noise reduction. Overall, I am disappointed in this app. I wish I could get my money back. Show more

As a game developer this is my go-to for simple sound effect adjustments such as trimming waveforms and adjusting the volume. I'll go to Audacity for multi-track effect mixing, but I appreciate Vector 3's ability to just save the file I'm editing without having to "export" or deal with it wanting to save a "project" file like I have to with Audacity. Has small bugs in a few places, such as: deleting a beginning portion of an audio file and then the end portion (or perhaps vice versa) often leads to the waveform display being inaccurate - like the remaining waveform will occupy 120% of the display area but the end-of-waveform border line will be at the 100% mark. In those cases I just save and reload. Show more

I use it quite often to edit, trim, change volume for editing sound files for iTunes. There are a lot of things I have not tried, but confident it will do the job. Currently have no need for anything more. Show more

I play in a band and use a Zoom Hi to record the live performances. The files are recorded at 48k/96, so the files become quite large quickly. I use the vector softeare to download the file, chop it up and delete unneccsary parts, and then to convert it into a much smaller file to upload to the cloud where the rest of the band can access it, and review. It works for me. Show more

I just use this for editing 2 channel audio. Some restoration and live recordings. It's my favorite of inexpensive programs. Smoother operating and more intuative than any others I have tried. Certainly worth the small price. Show more

I was trained on Adobe Soundbooth. Now since Adobe has changed. Vector is the greatest thing and closest I've found! So

I use this app for eding audio books and VOF files for videos. A lot of features, but if you only use it to cut out unwanted audio segments it is still a good buy. Easy to learn. Totally recommended. Show more

I Love useing this app to edit dirty lyrics to clean lyrics. As a DJ sometimes I Can't find songs that I need clean so this app takes care of that Fantastically LOL. Show more

I purchased Vector 3 as a replacement for EasyAudioRecorder Pro (that is good too) which I use to do simple recordings of my saxophone pratice sessions. I really like the Vector 3 because it not only allows me to record my sessions, it also has the ability to remove any segments that I did not intend to record. It saves files in several formats and records in stereo. The one shortcoming that I have noticed with Vector 3 is that unlike EasyAudioRecorder Pro, it does not have the ability to save a file if a system crash should occur which means you lose the entire recording if something should interrupt the session. EasyAudioRecorder Pro is a far less powerful application but it does save your recording if the computer should crash. I’m totally impressed with Vector 3. It meets my current needs fully, unless a crash occurs and all is lost. If Vector 3 could somehow backup during recording it would be even better. Wonderful program and I highly recommend it. I've used other sound editing software, but this program is the best so far. It has so many professional features combined with ease of use that learning how to work it has been the easiest part of our sound engineering learning curve :) Show more

I needed to edit some 25 Year old audio tracks I had and it just worked flawlessly and brought the tracks up to date ad I coudl easily save and export to what ever format I needed. Very happy with it Show more

I am an adjunct professor and I make a series of audio that I send out to my student daily. I use this tool to isolate my voice in my lectures. I like it a lot and any additional improvement I should enjoy. Show more

I love to listen to Christian Sermon Podcasts but find the Music app better for this than the Podcasts app as I can easily make playlists and such. I down load from the podcast and open in Vector. I then resave reducing the file size and then add to my music library. Show more

This prduct is easy to start recording. It doesn't seem stable to me. It defauted to stereo Few time and then charged to mono. Ihave to chage it to stereo eary time I open it. You can't pause a recording. You can't get sound whilst recording. I can tell when a record is finnished, or if there is a skip or scratchy noises when I record. i was told that thi id because of feedback. One time every time I preed /, - would appear. At first I could open a new file after recording a file. Now it won't and I have to close teh last file and select create on the opening window. The meter works well, but I think the playback should be louder. I am useing it, and hve recorded about 70 albums. Show more
